Jakes POV:

I wake up and stare at the ceiling. I then hear "Jake! Time for school, get dressed!" My mom yells. Ugh, I hate school. I stand up and start getting dressed. Once im dressed I walk down the stairs to see my mom has left. Weird, she never said bye. Whatever. I go to the kitchen and grab a banana and walk out the door. I get into my car and start driving to school.

Once I get there I park my car and walk over to where Sam and Colby are standing. "Hey guys" I say, mouth full of banana. "Hey Jake, have you seen the new kid?" Sam replies. "New kid? Who?" I say confused. Colby points over to a short black haired emo boy. My jaw drops in awe as I look at him. I guess I'm spaced out staring at this kid and Sam pushes me and says, "Jake what are you doing!?" "Huh?" I say as I shake my head back into reality. "You were staring at the new kid." Colby says pushing Sam. How could I not? He's.. so.... hot. I know it's weird hearing that but I just can't take my eyes off him.

The bell rings and we walk inside the school and head to our first class. Sam and Colby walk to their classes once I enter mine. I have guitar class first. I take my seat and get my workbook out along with my pencil. "Good morning class! We have a new student, his name is Johnnie Guilbert!" The teacher says. WHAT? HES IN MY CLASS?????? I stare at him as he walks in and takes a seat right next to me. HES RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!!!!!!! I turn and say hi, "hey! I'm Jake! I heard your new. Do you have any friends yet?" Wow jumping the gun already. He stares at me for a minute before he responds. "Uh no I guess I don't." Johnnie says nervously. "Oh! Can I be your friend?" I say. "Uh s-sure." He stutters.
