Sure enough, Barcode phone lit up with an incoming video call from Ta just as he climbed on his bed. He grinned, making himself comfortable before accepting the call. Ta face filled up his phone screen, smiling widely.
"Hey there, taking a break from studying?"
Barcode can't help but match the smile on Ta's face as he answered.
"Yes, my eyes are tired and so is my back— what are you doing phi?"
Ta looked up to him and showed him the soft gun in his hand.
"Modifying my gun but-"
Ta put his gun down and face the camera, softly smiling.
"I can do that later, right now I want to focus on my baby who I miss the most right now,"
Ta makes a kissy face at the camera and Barcode can't help but laugh— his boyfriend is such a kid but as he laughs, the phone on his hand slipped and smacked him right on the face,
"Oh fu-ck,"
Ta frantic voice lulled in the background as Barcode rubbed his face in pain with his other hand while the other one reached for his phone that had fallen— the screen shows Ta worried face, scrunched up handsomely while Barcode face seems a bit red from the rubbing.
"Are you okay?"
Ta asked, Barcode pouted and showed his forehead that had come in contact with the phone, he is now sitting on his bed.
"It hurts phi, kiss it please,"
Barcode whined, Ta can be seen smiling before he puffed his cheek and blow to the screen of the phone.
When Barcode face didn't change, Ta quickly stopped his action, he made his voice a tad bit high and smiled softly.
"Barcode~ don't do that face na? You are making me sad too. It's not that I don't want to, but you need to focus, and I need to be a good boyfriend and support you by not distracting you from your study— too much,"
He added as an afterthought and Barcode just gazes at his boyfriend's handsome face on the screen, sighing.
"I hate that you are right, but I love you too for that, it's just I miss you so much right now,"
Ta face softens at his boyfriend's word as he cheerily replied, lightening the mood.
"I miss you too na krub but after the exams na? I promise you, from morning till night, I am all yours."
Barcode finally smiles again as he held a pinkie in front of the screen.
"Promise?"
Ta held a pinkie too in front of his face, playing along.
