The bright lights shine as music plays, blocking out the stars but not the shining performers. Remix stands out with its teal and sky blue paint, adorned with bright stars and stripes. His band includes a guitarist named Spring, whose brown and mint green paint swirls and curves around his frame, and a drummer who likes to date around but is still cool enough to be part of the band. During a performance of one of their recent tour songs, a sudden gunshot is heard, and bright blue energon splatters everywhere. Time slows down as Remix processes what happened, and his best friend lies on the stage, shot through the forehead and out the back of his head. The friend is rushed to the hospital, and Remix hears only the beeping of the machine. Everything else is muffled until all there is silence, marking the end of an era and the end of the voice of a generation that, like everything else, went silent.
