Optimus is completely engrossed in a documentary about the loudest voice of a generation who disappeared after the death of his best friend. No one has seen or heard from him since that fateful night. Every year, a beautiful memorial concert is held where bots gather to sing songs and remember the best guitarist of the era. The incident had a devastating impact not only on him but also on his family. Now, security is of utmost importance to protect everyone even more than before.
Optimus is searching for Remix before the Decepticons can find him and recruit him to their soulless musical ranks. Despite months of searching, Optimus has yet to find any leads on Remix's whereabouts.
Optimus decides to ask Jazz, a mech who knew Remix personally, about Remix's location. Jazz is tuning his guitar when Optimus approaches him. Optimus asks, "Are you free to answer a few of my questions?" Jazz nods and turns to face Optimus.
Optimus asks Jazz about the possible whereabouts of Remix. Jazz takes some time to consider whether he should be honest or not. Eventually, he confesses that he has some knowledge of Remix's location, but he is not fond of visitors. Optimus attentively listens and suggests inviting Remix to the upcoming annual "Legacy of the Pic" concert. Jazz understands what Optimus means because it is a commemorative concert held every year on the anniversary of Spring's death. Now Jazz has to think about how he can convince Remix to join or at least attend the concert, and fast since the concert is tomorrow.
