My POV:
We head out of the house and get back into the car. We start to drive to an hotel for the night. I tell Colby, I will be back. I go inside the hotel and get us check in for the night. A few minutes later, I come back to the car.
Colby: We got an room?
Yn: Yes. Fifth floor.
We take the elevator to the fifth floor. As soon as we get to the bed, we fall asleep. It is the next morning and I see my phone. I see an message from the person.
I text the person back.
The Message:
??: Hello Mrs. Brock.
Yn: Hello.
??: Is 12 pm okay for you?
Yn: Yes, it is. I bought my husband with me. Is that okay?
??: Of course, it is. I'll send you the address.
Yn: Thanks, see you then.
I put my phone away and I roll over in bed to face Colby.
Yn: Babe?
Colby: Yes love?
Yn: Time to get up.
Colby: What time is it?
Yn: Almost 10:30 in the morning.
Colby: What time are we meeting this person?
Yn: About 12. And it's 30 minutes away. So, we need to get ready to go.
Colby: Okay babe.
Myself and Colby get out of bed to get ready to leave for the day. We arrive to the location at 11:40 am. We get to the location and we head inside the building.
Front Desk 1: Are you Yn Golbach-Brock?
Yn: Yes I am. I have a meeting at 12 pm today.
Front Desk 1: He will be with you soon.
We go and sit down in one of the chairs in the front. I hear what the two people are saying at the front desk.
Front Desk 1: Isn't that who I think it is?
Front Desk 2: It is. I thought we would never see her again.
Front Desk 1: She looks so much like her dad.
Front Desk 2: I know.
Myself and Colby are just sitting and talking to ourselves.
Yn: I wonder who my dad is.
Colby: I know. Sam is texting me.
Yn: Everything okay?
Colby: I think so.
