THE SCREEN GAINED color once more and a young Ryoko,whom looked about 9 years old,was focused on a candle in front of her. Her posture was stiff and the frown on her face seemed to deepen by the second.
"Aw Rosie-pie you looked so cute.",Charlie told the Potter girl,"What on earth happened to you?"
Rose scowled at him,"Shut up."
"Glaring at it won't make the flame appear.",a familiar female voice spoke. The woman walked from behind the small girl and stood next to her,she was wearing a black and red dress,and smiled down at her,"Concentrate,my sweet girl."
Nyra smiled slightly as she remembered the many lessons she taught her children. Both Rin and Ryoko were truly her pride and joy.
Ryoko huffed,"I am concentrating! It's just hard.",she sighed,"I'm just not a good witch."How could she be a powerful witch when she couldn't even light up a candle? Rin was a better wizard than she could ever be,of this she was sure. Why else would Aunt Akemi place so much faith in him and not her? She probably didn't even have magic,if she was being honest with herself.
Malfoy snorted at this,the irony of it all. In one world Potter is considered one of the most powerful witches to ever live while in another Longbottom is the one whom is more powerful.
Meanwhile, Finn frowned,oh how it pained him to see his daughter so sad and defeated.
Maybe that's why her father left-
"Oh Ryoko.",Nyra looked at her daughter softly,"You're right.You're not a good witch.",her words made Ryoko look at her with pain in her eyes,"But practice makes perfect and one day,you'll be a great witch. Even better than me."
Finn blinked,"Oh my love.",he turned to his wife,"I forgot how horrible you are at raising people's spirits."
Nyra looked at him offended,"I am no-"
"Remember that one time Roger sent Shanks and Buggy to us for a week after they almost sank the ship?"
"..we don't talk about that week."
Neville turned to his "future father?" with a curious look,"What happened?"
"Buggy adopted a baby turtle while Shanks found a Hawk.",Finn snickered a bit,"The Hawk ate the turtle before returning back to Shanks."
"Poor Buffy.",Sabo muttered, remembering the time he adopted a fish only for his Uncle Luffy to eat it by accident not an hour later. He could sympathize with Tuggy.
"Then what happened?",Rose asked her father from another life.
"Your Mother made turtle soup and gave Buggy the shell in order to 'Make him feel closer to the turtle'.",Finn laughed while many of the room looked at him and Nyra horrified at the thought of killing turtles,"Poor kid cried for hours."
