Chapter 33

Tyler stood up from bed, I pushed my body up to a sitting position and listened to him yell orders at the group of men in front of me.

"Take every child and female to the safe house now, I want guards surrounding that place" a group of pack fighters broke up to gather the females and kids.

"Pull any male shifter with two years of experience to the pack house, have half of them surrounding it in their shifted forms. I want everyone to be productive" Gage walked in with a group of trackers.

"Sniff out they're scents, see how far away they are and surround them. Back them up into the safe field" the safe field was about four miles away from the pack house to the east. It was where every surrounding pack went for treaties, deals and fights.

"I need someone to guard Luna Krystal, make sure she has everything she needs. Don't let her out of your sight" two men stepped forward and walked past Tyler to me. "What? No! Tyler I'm not leaving you" I stood up "Krystal, stay here, we've got this" shaking my head I grabbed a hold of his hand "no, if you go I go" Tyler looked between me and the door.

"At least stay here for now, let me talk to them before things get bloody, okay?" I nodded. "Keep the baby safe" he murmured kissing my lips.

"Alpha, their coming in from the east. The group is as big as ours but they are large and carrying silver" Tyler walked out of the room giving orders like a mad man. "Then back them up goddamnit!"

Pacing the room I chewed on my nails, the baby was restless inside of me. It was like he or she knew something was wrong and wanted it's father to protect them. I rubbed my stomach, cooing it to settled down. "Luna, maybe you should sit down. I'll bring you a glass of water"

"I don't want to rest Nigel! I want to be out their! On the battlefield" he shook his head "but your pregnant and we can't risk our future Alpha because of that"

"Pregnant, nutmeg. The same thing, the baby wants to fight too. I can feel her"

"Her?"

"Yes, I'm officially naming get a her" I pushed past him, running down the stairs and out the house. It was utterly quiet except for the birds last chirps and the crickets coming out.

I hoped into the car. "LUNA!" Yelled Nigel and Maximus. They ran to the car in a hurry and hopped it "Luna you've got quite some speed for a pregnant women" I ignored their comment and out the car on drive. Racing down to the east field were seven Alphas stood with their packs behind them, including mine. On the other side of the field stood the scared face man, the one who kidnapped me.

"We've come to take what's ours. Give her to use and we'll spare your lives" Tyler chuckled "spare whose life, yours? Look around. I've got six Alpha's protecting what is mine" The man stepped forward "then where is she?"

"In a safe place"

"If I can talk to her, I'll make a deal. All I need is ten minutes" Tyler shook his head, taking a step forward to "n-" I took my chance and stepped out of the SUV. "What do you want?" I questioned keeping my eye on the scared faced man who I never got a name from. I kept walking in Tyler direction who stared at me like I had grown three heads.

"Luna Krystal. My name is Marcus Levine and I'd like to make a deal, now originally my brother wanted you as his mate. Now that he's found out your pregnant, he wanted your first born child instead" Tyler sneered, taking another step in his direction "Ah ah ah Alpha Tyler, I wouldn't do that if I were you. I hadn't let me finish yet" glancing at Tyler I nodded at Marcus. "Go on."

"The second deal is for you to meet my brother in private, no harm will come to you or your family. We'll bring you back within and hour and no war will come with it" My eyes cast to the ground, go with them and stop a war or stay with Tyler and risk hundreds of peoples lives. Tyler grabbed my arm.

"You can not seriously be thinking about this Krystal!" He growled, his hand on my arm tightened "Tyler, let go, I can choose my own fights"

"Will you allow four of my pack members to come with me?" I turned back to Marcus, he hummed and nodded his head back and forth "I guess so"

"I'll take the second deal"
