We arrive at my aunts house and I stretch as I climb out of the truck. Devin walks up to my aunts door and knocks while I shift Jacob so he has his arm around me. I pull my arm around his waist and shut the door. I grab his other hand and make my way up to the door. When I am about half way to the door my aunt comes out and looks at me worriedly. I half smile as she comes to help me.

She puts her hand around his waist and we bring him inside. I smile at Devin on the way in, nodding at my aunt, he smiles back. "Hi Karen." My aunt jumps, "Oh, hello Devin. I didn't see you there." Devin smiles and follows us inside, closing the door behind him.

We set Jacob down carefully on the couch, propping his head up on some pillows. I sit down on one of the armchairs, wiping the sweat off my forehead. My aunt hugs me, "How are you doing, child?" I smile, "I'm fine, we just came here to pick up some more needles..." I pause and breath in, "I also need to tell you all something."

Devin frowns, "What do you mean, 'you need to tell us' something?" I  nod my head towards Jacob. "Not until Jacob is awake. I don't want to repeat myself." My aunt frowns, "Alright, well I'll go get some needles, how much do you need?" Devin bites his lip, "We are out, so... as many as we can take."

My aunt looks terrified, "What do you mean your 'all out'. Do you understand how dangerous that is?" We nod our heads and I speak up, "Devin brought me home after I had a vision and apparently he found Jacob on the floor. He said he couldn't find any." Devin closes his eyes, "I will never get the image of how scared and terrified his face was." He shivers.

"I'm sorry you had to see him that way. No one your age should see that." My aunts exclaims while handing us crates of needles. I sigh, she still doesn't understand that we've been through a lot. "Thank you Aunt Karen, again, for supplying us with needles." She smiles and nods, "It's fine... there aren't too many people you can buy needles from anymore." I nod and we are about to go outside when Jacob makes some noise.

We turn our attention over to him and I smile. "Hey. Are you feeling okay? I heard you couldn't find any needles?" He ignores Aunt Karen, sits up slowly and rests his head on his hands. He doesn't move as I go sit by him, "Hey..." I whisper while placing my hand on his shoulder. He looks up slowly, "Mr. James..." I frown, confused, "What do you mean Mr. James?"

"I was pulling into our driveway when I had a vision of something bad happening to him. But the thing is, no one was around. I know for a fact that I wasn't looking into anyone's eyes." I frown and Devin walks up to us, "Whats going on?" I bite my lip, "I think Jacob and I had the same vision. I know what he's talking about." Devin looks at Aunt Karen, "Has this ever happened?" She shakes her head, "Not that I know of..." She gasps, "There is one thing... but, it's just a myth."

"What?" We all say at once, looking at her. "Have you and Jacob ever seen each others visions before this?" I frown, "No... that isn't possible, people like us can't see each others visions." My aunt shifts her eyes to a dusty book on a shelf. I follow her eyes. It was titled, Strangers. I look at my aunt as she picks it up, blowing dust off of it. "It talks about two people, boy and girl, they were like us but they were complete strangers who were kidnapped by the same person; someone that wanted to abuse their powers."

"What do you mean 'abuse their powers'?" Devin speaks up. My aunt shook her head, "The person that took them wanted their powers, he would abuse them, he did things to the girl..." she trails off. "Did he ever get the powers?" My aunt shakes her head, "Never. The thing is, he didn't give up trying. He kept abusing them and starving them, that is, until the boy and girl escaped. The saw a way out and ran for their lives."

"It's said that they always stayed together. They never left each other's sides after that. One day, while the woman was sleeping she had a vision; the man also had a vision. The same vision." I frown, now really curious about what happened next. "The man that had abused them was after them again. The vision shows the woman being taken, but the man wouldn't let that happen. So the man left the woman to find the abuser, destined to kill him."

I frown, "Did he ever find him?" My aunt nods, "He did. When he found him, he was doing the same thing to more boy and girls but the man who escaped wouldn't let that happen. He stabbed the kidnapper 15 times, making sure the sick man was dead. The kids were terrified about what happened in front of them and explained that the man found a way to take their powers. The kidnapper dosed himself with certain chemicals to make him see visions... but before he did that, he tested out all the experiments on the children."I close my eyes and shiver head to toe, "Oh my..." I feel someone put their arm around me and open my eyes to find Jacob just as pale as I am.

My aunt continues, "They say that some of the experimented children could look into each other's eyes and could see the same visions. The man who killed the kidnapper took the groups of children back to his friend that was kidnapped with him. On one of the trips back, he was in a car accident and was killed. There were six children is his car and they were all in very bad conditions after the accident. They all had amnesia, they forgot about their powers that were forced upon them and went went to live normal lives in orphanages, later being adopted." My heart rate quickens, "That can't be possible," I whisper as Jacob stiffens at my side. Jacob and I both came from orphanages.
