Stepping through the portal and back into Fynlone's throw room, commander Brainder Ruby counted the heads of everyone he had brought along to Arena.

"Marcus, Diana, Sascia, and Reyna." He gave everyone a pat on the head as he did.

"Awh, but you forgot me, Commander Briander 'Sunshine' Ruby!"

Trieck Calmet stepped through the portal. His skin was dark, and his hair down to his lower back, and black, not to mention wild and messy. He didn't have the courtesy to wear a shirt, and his dark blue cape was torn in many places, unlike the rest of the fynlone mage squad. His eyes were a piercing red, and he had a nasty smile plastered on his face.

The Commander shook his head. "Isn't it time you replace that beat up and broken piece of clothing of yours, Trieck?"

The portal mage laughed and waved his hands. "I like this one! It makes me feel free. It's not like anyone is supposed to see me, right, Tyranny?"

The group of six Fynlone mages turned to the lady on the throne. Her hair was long and pink. It looked elegant as it fell next and behind her body in a wavy pattern. It covered her face too, but her lilac eyes were still visible, which felt like they were glowing and giving off light. She was wearing a beautiful white dress which showed off her lush figure. Around her neck was a symbol made up of multiple magic circles, and the form of a star hidden in it too. The symbol glowed with every colour of the rainbow. To the less trained eye, it would probably be described as weird lines and odd points contained within a circle. Lastly, and most importantly, the woman had two white feathery wings that sprouted from her back, much akin to an angel of old legends.

"Indeed, Trieck," she spoke as her eyes glanced over the group. "As long as you're not seen by the public, I couldn't care less what you wear or look like. You know well that as long as you obey me, you will be fine."

Ruby cleared his throat. "Well, my lady, I do have one thing to mention there. The boy you like so dearly, Steven Kaynes. He and a friend of his, Olivia Denter, participated in the tournament today."

Tyranny laughed. "I'm well aware, Ruby. I have someone on the inside who brought this to my attention."

"Someone on the inside?"

Tyranny did not reply. She simply gave the commander a smile.

"Regardless, my lady, I exchanged a few words with this Steven. Most pressingly, asked me the whereabouts, and I quote; 'Trieck Calmet. May I speak to him?' Is he supposed to have that information?"

Tyranny's eyes glanced over to the teleported mage. Though no words were spoken, everyone knew she was waiting for an answer from him. Trieck didn't seem to be too worried about it.

"The kid knows my name," he laughed. "How the hell did he figure that out?! That's amazing! I swear I didn't tell him. Though I wish I did! Imagine the chaos and confusion when he starts chasing me properly!"

The lilac eyes pierced through the room again. Back to Ruby this time. "Did the boy say anything else of note?"

The commander shook his head with a slight bow. "Nothing I am aware of, my lady."

"Uhm," Reyna reached her hand up.

"What is it, dear," Tyranny spoke, her voice much softer this time.

"While I was on the winners podium with him, he did ask about the magic gem I won," she explained, now having been given permission to speak. "The owner of the arena, Miss Kasike, told him it was probably some form of magical battery."

Trieck laughed. "They could be on to something. If they still have the soul stone from number One that I couldn't find after they destroyed it, maybe they learned something by studying it."
