12:58pm.

Wenji overslept himself. He is panicking, but not panicking, but still panicking as he prepares himself for school. He shouldn't be supposed to overslept.

After everything is packed, he bid farewell to his mother and head out from his home, going to school.

Wenji only focused on going to school, that was until he bumped into someone else.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." Wenji apologized to the guy before walking away. Wenji was embarrassed that even the guy found it... Cool? Beautiful? Awkward? It was a mixed reaction.

1:35pm.

Wenji got in time in the classroom, where everyone is already settled down in their respective seats. The teacher noticed Wenji who was standing in the doorway and was catching his breath.

"Sorry, Ma'am... I overslept." Wenji apologized, which the teacher replied, reassuring Wenji, "It's okay, Provida. Now, you may take your seat."

As Wenji settled down, he noticed the exact guy he bumped earlier. He was handsome as Wenji described in his mind.

He suddenly blushed after he thought about his features, THINK STRAIGHT, WENJI! YOU CANNOT FALL IN LOVE WITH THAT GUY!

After 30 minutes, the teacher bid farewell and everyone was free to move, Wenji thought of two things: One, he should apologize to that person and introduce himself, and two, he should move on and forget about that awkward situation.

But Wenji couldn't handle himself, so he got up and approached the guy he bumped into, "Uhm, Hi. I'm Wenji Provida and I'm sorry for bumping you earlier outside... I was in a rush and I overslept..." He explained.

The guy looked at him and replied, "It's okay. The name's Kirt Cavan, but you can also call me JKirt... If you want." Kirt introduced himself nonchalantly. Wenji cleared his throat.

"Oh, okay. Well, thank you for... You know, understanding my situation?" Wenji felt more embarrassed as he said that, which Kirt answered, "I told you, it's okay."

As time passed, the two began to grow comfortable with one another and began to have some small talks. It then eventually evolves into friendship to best friends.

A month after the two met and introduced one another, things began to change drastically. Whenever anyone in the Team Emerald is mentioning Kirt, Wenji will act... Well, a little bit weird.

Small gestures like patting or "accidentally" brushing against each other will cause the two to act awkwardly and a faint of blush will appear in their cheeks.

Eventually, the time has come.

Wenji had decided to confess at Kirt. But in order to gain confidence, he seeks advice to his beloved friend. The Queen of Wonderland herself, Jewel Jumao-as.

"Mother Queen, I assure you that he will love you!" Jewel assured Wenji as he's starting to freak out. What if Kirt won't love me? What if he had someone else? What if...?

Jewel suddenly cut his thoughts out, "MOTHER QUEEN!!! Are you with me???" She asked. Wenji nodded, "Of course, luv! I-I am..."

The duckling hybrid smirked, "You're stuttering. And I know what that means!" Wenji's cheeks flushed red as he looked away, embarrassed.

"Aww! Mother Queen is in love!" Jewel teased, "S-Shut up! Okay!?" Wenji stuttered even more.

Just then, Kirt interrupted the scene, "What's going on?" He asked. Jewel frozed before turning into Kirt, "Oh... ¡Hola, Kirt! Lamento decirte esto pero Alex me necesita ahora, ¿de acuerdo? ¡Los veré a los dos más tarde, adiós! (I'm sorry to tell you this but Alex needs me now, okay? I'll see you both later, bye!)" Was all Jewel said before running out from the room before Wenji could protest.

It was both Wenji and Kirt left in the room.

"So..." Kirt started, "What are you two talking about?"

Wenji replied, "O-Oh, that? Well, it was nothing..." He fiddled his fingers before glancing at Kirt's face. "Kirt?"

Kirt hummed, "Hmm, Wenji?"

"About... Us... Well..." Wenji was struggling to form any words that he could think of. He needed to be honest and at the same time, he needed to lie!

Finally, with a deep breath, Wenji asked, "Do you... Have a crush on someone?"

Kirt's eyes widened a bit before his cheeks flushed red, "Where? In here? Or..."

"In here." Wenji interrupted. "Okay... Well... Yes. Kind of." Kirt answered his question, which made Wenji's heart start to beat fast.

"What do they look like?" Wenji asked.

Kirt chuckled, "Well, he is my friend." The word 'He' made Wenji's heart skip a beat, "He's smart, cool and maybe a bit awkward when it comes to... Embarrassing stuff."

"Oh... Well, who is he... Then?"

Kirt made eye contact with Wenji, "You. I have Fallen for you, Wenji."

Wenji blushed, before he could say why, Kirt leaned into Wenji and gave him a kiss on the lips. Wenji was stunned as Kirt kissed him but eventually calmed down and kissed back.

When the two pulled away, Wenji asked, "So... We're a thing now, huh?" Kirt chuckled nervously, "I guess we are."

All of the sudden, the whole Team Emerald came out from nowhere, "LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Everyone cheered.

"This... Is poggers." Jewel smirked as she fist bumped Alex Quackity, who smirked too.
