Chapter 1

Bzzzzz bzzzzzz bzzzzzz..

I reached for my buzzing phone on the bedside table to check on who it could be. Damn. Who could be calling me at this hour? It isnt even 8 in the morning, i can feel the room spinning and I can feel my mouth salivating waiting for another puke fest to happen. Im so hangover that i didnt even bother to check who the caller was. I pressed accept.

"ALISON!!" the man on the other line yelled at me. I couldnt get a word to come out of my mouth, a small groan is all i managed to answer him back.

"Where in the fvcking planet are you?!! I've been calling you last night but you're not picking up?!" He yelled again, What the hell is wrong with this guy? Doesnt he know that im not a morning person? Add to that a hangover that has impaired my sense of speech and a very sensitive hearing.

"Who is this? Do you know what time it is?" I forced the words to come out.

"I am the person you dont wanna piss off Alison, get your shit together and stop making a fool of yourself, in public and in private. My patience is running out." I know those comments would have stung a little bit more if my brain could process the words right now, thankfully it doesnt. I held the phone away from me to check on who could it be. JAMES GOOD. Shit. My manager.

"James, im sorry, i just, can i talk to you later? Please. Im so tired and dizzy and I can go on and on or i could just fall asleep?" I asked.

"Whatever Alison, i am your friend but dont forget that im your manager. You can never mix business with pleasure. Meet me today at the office, we.need.to.talk." He hung up on me before i could reply. His emphasis on the last few words only mean one thing. IM IN TROUBLE. I couldnt care less anymore. I just wanna go to sleep and get rid of this hangover for now. So i drifted back to sleep.

I woke up a few hours later feeling better than I did earlier. It took me awhile to get out of bed and when I did, i immediately looked for an advil in the medicine cabinet. I look as bad as I feel. Damn! I checked the time and its 4pm. I almost forgot that i have to meet with James today so i showered as fast as I can and dressed quickly.

I arrived at James' office a little later than 6 PM, as soon as I entered his office he was already waiting for me.

"James" i greeted him.

"Take a seat Alison." He responded coldly.

"So what's up?" I asked

"I'll get straight to the point Ali, after that article of you came out, there hasnt been a lot of offers for movies or series, not even a single endorsement, and you partying every night isnt helping your career either. I say, lets cool the situation off first, the management is good enough not to fire you, instead they offered that you go on vacation for some time, and then make a comeback after a few months once your face isnt the cover of every tabloid anymore. What do you say?"

Its been a long time coming, but finally somebody had the balls to tell it straight to my face that this isnt working out. When i landed my first acting job after leaving high school, i thought i could start a new life, change my name, change my image and change my identity. I thought things would be different and I wouldnt be that "Dead-girl-who-isnt-really-dead-and-was-convicted-for-murder-and-was-stalked-by-a-psycopath-named-A" but i guess, the ghost of the past always have a way to catch up on you. To the entertainment business, I am Lauren Estella, award winning actress, humanitarian, unicef spokesperson, but to the people who knew me personally, I am ALISON LAUREN DILAURENTIS, the once queen B of Rosewood High Pennsylvania, the mean bitch who everyone I ever bullied wanted to be dead. I am a changed person but not everyone knows that, and saw what ive been thru.
