"How much do he earn?", Ankita's father was in conversation with yet another boy's father. Ankita let out a breathe listening to the perfect groom list of his dad. It was not her idea of a perfect husband but she didn't have much of say in this. She stood up and went inside her room. She started arranging her books. She was doing her masters in physics and exams were soon approaching. She sat down on her table to study forgetting all about the marriage madness.after two hours, she took off her glasses and took a small nap placing her head on the table.
Her mother entered the room and warmly moved her hands through her straight black hair.
"The boy and his family are coming to see you this Sunday. The boy is a senior manager in 'imrosis'...."
Ankita held her mother's hand and said,"later mom!"
She stood up and went to sleep on her bed. She turned and said,"close the door behind you mom."
