Chapter 26-Anastasia

I wake up and get out bed almost immediately.Ive been sleeping weirdly for a few days now and it's taking a toll on me.I shake away those thoughts and walk to my bathroom.I take off my plaster to reveal a scared stab wound.I shower and instead of putting on a plaster I walk to my closet specifically to my sundresses.I pick a long yellow sundress and sandals.I walk downstairs and find a sleepy Allie."What did I tell you about rest, Allie?"I say scaring her abit.She rolls her eyes and takes another bite of her dry bread.I shake my head and sit down as a maid sets my salad infront of me.I eat my salad and watch as Allie proceeds to eat more bread.

Once I'm done eating, Allie already went to shower, assuming she's fine.I walk to the living room and sit on the couch.I open my Tiktok and start scrolling as I wait for Allie or that is before I get a call."Ciao?"I answer."Ciao Capo,"one of my men greets."Yes?"I ask."There's a problem here in Italy,"he says.Well, there goes Girls' night #2."I'll fly in later today."I say.I open my texts and start announcing the tragedy.

I close my texts and head up to my room to pack a little duffel bag.I walk in my closet and pack my black lacy Christian Louboutins and my all black ones.After shoes I settle on a few dresses.After packing I pick up my phone and call my pilot."Ciao Capo,"he answers."Ciao,I need a flight from NYC to Italy, please."I say."Consider it done Capo"He says as I hang up.I pick up my duffel and walk outside to the SUV that was prepared for me."Hey Dario,"I greet my driver."Hey Stasi,"he says as he drives us to the airport.We get there, and I walk to the private section onto my jet.I settle into the dark brown leather chair and close my eyes to rest.

I open my eyes to the oranges of Italys sunset as the pilot intercom sounds for landing.I pick up my duffel and fix my flowy  yellow sundress.I walk off the plane and see Zade"AHHH ZADE,"I shout as I run towards him and hug him."ANASTASIA IT'S BEEN FOREVER,"he shouts as he spins me around."We need to catch up big time, Cugino Zade,"I say as I gesture towards his silver wedding band.He chuckles and says, "Tomorrow you can meet my wife."I can't wait to see who fell in love with such an idiota,"I squel as he playfully shoves me."See you tomorrow, Zadie,"I say."See you tomorrow Athenie"He says.I chuckle as I get in the SUV, and the driver  drives to my childhood home.We arrive, and I instantly get a flashback.

Flashback.
"Hey Mama,let's go swim,"I say."I wish I could la mia bambina, but Mama is just a bit tired now,maybe later,"she says."Okay Mama,I'll wait for you"I say.She gives me the faintest of smiles as she gives into her exhaustion.I walk to the kitchen where I find Mrs Ferrari "Mrs Ferrari,can I have a sandwich please?"I ask."Always my love,"she says.I walk to the living room and sit beside Mama, who is softly snoring.

Present time
The SUV stops, and I take my duffel and walk inside the house.Instantly as I walk in, I see Mrs Ferrari on the couch very pale."Mrs Ferrari,are you okay?"I ask.She softly smiles and pats my face."You are the daughter I never had,"she rasps before going limp in my arms.I shake her lightly and try doing CPR on her.I lift her and jog to the medical wing on the bottom floor."DOTTORE"I shout as he sprints out a room and takes Mrs Ferrari from me.I stand there frozen in place before I  slowly walk up to my room and softly close the door behind me.I sit on the edge of my bed and feel the tears running down my face before I decide to just let it all out.I cry hysterically as I remember my mother and Mrs Ferraris friendship.I need to have hope.I can't give up.For Mrs Ferrari.For Mama.For Papa.For this Mafia.For me.I wipe my tears and walk back to the medical wing and see the docter waiting for me.

"Capo,she's gone"He says.Hearing those words I sprint straight to my room and slam the door behind me.I collapse to my knees as I remember it all my childhood is gone.Forever.I stand up and slam my fists into the dresser still in tears."No,no,no"I sob repeatedly as I hug my knees to my chest.It can't be.She can't leave me.She was the only one who could understand me.She was the one who knew me better than my own self but now she's gone.

I pick up my phone and dial Allie."Hello?"She answers."M-Mrs Ferrari j-just p-passed away."I choke out between sobs.Allie gasps on the other line and hangs up.I set my phone beside me and stare at the ceiling before I get another call."Hello?"I answer."H-Hey Stasi,"Anna says between sobs as she cries hysterically.Annas nearest family was an aunt, which was Mrs Ferrari."It's gonna be okay,"I say."Anna, we need to be strong. That's what Aunt Gia would've wanted."I try comfort her."You need to come to Italy.Ill organise the jet for tomorrow."I say"Okay,Thank you Stasi"She says, calming down."Bye, Anna."I say."Bye Stasi"She says as I hang up.

I call the solder who works for me. "You called me earlier,"I say, my mood getting suddenly ten times worse."Yes Capo"The man says."Which warehouse?"I ask as I pick one of the remaining cars here."The western one Capo"He says."I'll be there in ten minutes,"I say as I hang up and get onto my black Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14.I speed to the warehouse and see two of my men waiting for me."What's the problem?"I ask."Two robbers Capo.They also refuse to speak"One of them say.I push open the warehouses heavy metal doors and walk to the two robbers who decided to give up their lives.I see the torcher devices prepared and ready for my arrival."Hello,gentlemen,"I say."Now I'm sure you know my face is the last face you'll ever see,"I say.

Picking up the blow torch, I walk up to them.I switch it on and burn their arms that are bound together with wire."Who do you work for?"I ask calmly as their arms turn a dark color."We work for the Russian Mafia"One of them shouts unable to bear the pain.My mind automatically snaps to Dimitri,but why?I ask myself.Pushing my thoughts aside I continue letting out my stress on these two idiots."Amazing,now who wants abit of tattoos?"I ask as I walk to the torcher devices.

I pick up a tiny pocket knife and walk towards them as I smirk.I go to the man who hasn't said anything."Who sent you?"I ask as I stab the knife in his kneecap."M-Mr Ivanov sent us"He softly stutters."Amazing,now who wants abit of silence?"I ask as I twirl the pocket-knife between my fingers.I slice one of the mens tongues off before the first man vomits blood on me."You ruined my dress,bitch"I spit.I walk over to the next man and slice his tongue and he also vomits blood me."Son of a fucking bitch"I say before slapping him clean across the face.I walk to the torcher devices and pick up a lighter.I switch on the lighter and light the two men on fire.I turn around and walk out the warehouse to the two men on guard."Switch off the fire in two hours"I demand.They nod and I get on my bike and speed back home.

Once I get home I walk straight up to my room and shower.I dig through my duffel bag and discover that I forgot pajamas.I wear a random over size t-shirt.I get in bed and sleep letting all the day's events set in
