Chapter 34-Anastasia

I wake up to the occasional fresh scents of rose and lavender and an extremely loud thunderstorm outside.I get out of my bed and walk over to my bathroom.I shower and wear my black dress for the Mafia Mansion.Instead of wearing all black I wear my red Christian Louboutins with my red Dior handbag bought by none other than Allie because we did shit when we were young.I walk downstairs and see Anna and Allie wearing black dresses completely ready."Morning,why are yall up so early?"I ask, halting just before leaving."We wanted to come to see your 'Gray' in person,"Anna says."Okay, then let's go."I say waiting.We walk outside to Darios' car and get in."Hey Dario,"I say as I get in the SUV."Hey ladies."He says as he drives to the Mafia Mansion.

Once we get there, we walk to Evelyn's desk, and the ladies start talking about fashion, but honestly, I'm not even listening, or that is until I glance over my shoulder and see Gray walking in."Gray,"I say as I walk over to him and throw myself in his arms.He chuckles and spins me in his arms.He kisses my forehead and asks,"How are you,my princess?"."I'm okay, Bello,but I'm not coming for the rest of the week.But I'm still coming to your house during the night,"I say, dropping my voice to a whisper for the last part.He chuckles for me to hear and pecks my lips."I need to go love,I have inventory to inspect."He says."Okay.Bye Bello,"I say before walking back to the now grinning ladies.I roll my eyes and walk to my office."It's been a while since I had a drink,you know?"I say sitting in my chair."Yeah,but the last time we did that, we got kidnapped,so I don't think the club is an option."Anna says, sitting in one of the chairs opposite mine."I didn't wanna go anyway,"Allie says, sitting beside Anna."Okay, that's not an option, then what do we do?"I ask."We wait for night, and we go out to drift and race,"Allie suggests."I don't want yall to break your legs,"I say, putting my head in my hands."Oh,come on, Stasi.It was just that one time,"Anna says before sighing."Okay,if not that, then what?"Allie asks."Let's look at some wedding rings."I blurt out."Oh my-Are you getting married, Stasi?"Anna cuts Allie off.

"NO,NO GOSH NO, maybe not now at least,"I shout before whispering the last part."Gosh,what styles were you thinking?"Anna asks, opening her phone."I want a big diamond in the middle and smaller ones around it,"I say.Anna flips her phone and shows me an oval ring."Nah,I'm thinking like a circle or a square,"I say."How about we go check out dresses for you?"Allie teases."No way,"Anna says."Let's stick to rings,"I suggest pulling out my phone, opening my Pinterest.I search up for circle rings first and flip my phone to show them."This is what I was thinking,"I say, showing them."If I was to going married. I would get this," Anna says, showing us a huge oval ring."I would want this,"Allie says, showing us a rectangular ring."If I don't get married, I'm still gonna buy it for myself as a pinky ring,"I say."You know what? I don't know anymore."Anna says, laying her head on the back of the chair."Same,"Allie says, doing the same."Yall can take a nap. I still have work to get to,"I say, pulling out my glasses.

After working for three hours and the soft snores of the ladies, a file I find has my heart beating a thousand times faster.An ambush file....for Grayson.I jump out of my seat and walk out my office towards his.On my way I see just the person I need to speak to.I glance at him and stop walking for him to catch up."This is yours, love,"I say, looking up at him over my glasses."Thanks princess"He says before I pull him close."Tomorrow,the American Mafia ambushes your home to kill you.Stay safe,Grayson.I can't lose you,"I whisper."Don't worry,love.Im not going back there.I planted a bomb so when they get there,they all die,"he whispers back."Okay, bye again, love,"I say before strutting away.
I arrive at my office, finding the ladies still dead asleep.I sit at my chair and glance at the papers in front of me and sigh deeply before continuing working.

A knock breaks my work a few minutes later."Enter,"I say, looking up from my papers."I'm not gonna see you in a while, so I'm gonna give you a kiss, Farewell, for now,"he whispers, noting that Anna and Allie are sleeping.He walks over to me and kisses me passionately before waving and walking out of my office.As the door clicks closed I let out a sigh purely out of the sparks crackling through out me.I shake my head to try get the inappropriate imaginations out my head.With a few deep breaths I continue my work.
