Namjoon gasped, "Shit, my bag!"

Angie hummed, hazed and unbothered in their afterglow warmth until his chest disappeared from under her. Then she sulked and raised her head to see him, naked and glistening, feeling his clothes up on the floor for something.

He grabbed his phone and dialed someone, instantly smiling at her and getting in the sheets again. She waited for him to lie down again so they could snuggle and ignored his conversation when the person answered the phone. The low rumbling of his voice soothed her along with his heartbeat under her ear. That hastiness reminded her of their loving just before, of their bodies together chasing groundbreaking feelings, and she smiled. It was comfortable; she was never as relaxed with anyone else.

He ended the call and sighed, "He left it at the reception."

"You brought a bag with you?"

"Yeah, with a few things."

She hummed, "You're staying somewhere?"

He chuckled while his fingers found her shoulder again to hold her close, "I'm just prepared in case I'm invited."

She smiled and looked up at him, "You're invited never to leave."

His eyes locked on her lips, "Like last time."

"A bit longer this time," she teased with a smile.

"That'd be perfect."

The back of his fingers brushed her cheek and her lips curved, "I missed this."

His caress continued as his sweet eyes traced her features, but then she looked down. What they were, what they were doing...

She shouldn't have said that, "Maybe I—"

"I missed your eyes."

Her voice stagnated as she looked at him again. Nothing had changed; his gaze, attentiveness, and introspection were all still there. Making her feel like there was no one else like her. Like they lived in a world apart, like they truly were unique.

"My eyes?"

"Yes," his finger traced her cheekbone, eyes taking in every detail. "No one looks at me like you do. Like I can't hide even if I wanted to."

A line showed between her eyebrows, "Do you want to hide?"

"Not when I'm with you."

The line deepened as she observed him. His caresses were sweet and focused, but she suspected there was a hint there she wasn't able to read.

"I know I hide a lot," he started with a skewed smile. "It becomes automatic when so many people are watching and judging every step. But I hate when I do that with people that I care about," his brow furrowed ever so slightly as she rolled belly-down half over his chest to see him better. "I never want to do it with you and still." He smirked, "You call me out whenever I do."

She frowned, "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

"Being with you is comfortable. Authentic. I'm thankful that I can look at you and immediately let the mask fall." His eyes roamed her face again and he gave a short nod, "I missed it."

For a second, she wondered what she could say. He smoothed the line between her eyebrows with the gentlest touch as if he wanted her to relax, but she had a bitter taste in her mouth.

He tapped her shoulder, "I'm going to get my bag."

She got off him, "I'll shower then."

She lay in bed while he put back on his clothes, then heaved a deep breath, and got to the shower as he left the room.
