Chapter 6

As soon as JD asked what was wrong with him, Branch looked confused.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you?!"

Poppy frowned, watching them go back and forth, "Dad, we can't just let this...stranger harass Branch!"

"Poppy, dear, he is no stranger. Branch just...doesn't remember him..." King Peppy said.

JD scoffed, "No, what is wrong with you?! You're the one acting like you don't know me! Talk to me, bro. Are you just being a petty baby? Hmm? Is that it? YOU KNOW WHO I AM!"

Branch hissed, screaming right back at him, "NO I DON'T!"

"YOU DO!"

"I DON'T!"

"YES!"

"NO!"

"BRANCH, I SWEAR-!"

"STOP ACTING LIKE YOU KNOW ME!"

Both brothers stopped for a moment and took a deep breath.

Poppy stepped between them with wide eyes, Branch has never gotten so upset before, this guy has got to go.

Branch stared at JD, not caring about the stares for once.

JD narrowed his eyes and grabbed Branch's wrist, "Branch. Come on, don't you remember me, starlight?"

Something seemed to click in Branch's mind, "Starlight...? How do you...know that..?"

JD grabbed Branch's other wrist, "Look at me, look. That's one of the nicknames I gave you, remember? Starlight. That's your nickname."

Branch stared at him, he does remember it...

As Branch stared at JD, he kept repeating, 'Starlight' in his head, he then began to see an old memory, one that had been lost for so long...

"Branch! You silly baby! Get back here!" A smiling troll yelled softly, chasing the baby who was crawling away.

Branch giggled, he has JD's goggles around his neck, the oldest had been taking a nap and left them unprotected.

That was his mistake.

The baby crawled around the pod, trying to find a good hiding place as JD chased him slowly.

That was a sign to the other three that JD was having fun with the baby, nothing is actually wrong.

Floyd smiled as he watched JD chase the baby, it's so cute to see them playing together.

Spruce chuckled and kneeled down, deciding to play the game of keep away with them, "Come here, buddy! I'll help you!"

Clay laughed and scooped up the baby just as JD was about to grab him, "I've gotcha, baby bro!"

Branch squealed as Clay picked him up.

JD laughed and jumped at Clay, but to Floyd and JD's horror, Clay threw the baby to Spruce.

Spruce caught the laughing baby, "Hey, bud! Let's go hide you, okay?" He asked, already running off to go hide the baby.

Branch giggled and hugged the goggles, he loves his Johnny!

When Branch came out of the memory, he blinked and looked  JD in the eye.

"Johnny.."
