20 years ago, The Hybrids Right act was passed, giving the Hybrid community the same rights as humans. 10 years later, the first Hybrid king has gone into power. King Ren, a descendant of King Leon and his wife, the dog hybrid, Brianna. The news of King Ren in power caused public uproar, as the public hated the idea of a 'street mutt' on the throne. As the king struggled to keep his place in the royal castle, he managed to make some sort of alliance. Martyn LittleWood befriended the new king and became his right hand man.
Now, the King has been missing for months. Martyn is covering Ren's position on the throne, though the kingdom is falling apart. New laws being passed, The Hunters rebell for more land, and enemies are being made. Some people are even loosing hope that the king is even still alive. But in the town of Magebrook, they've got bigger problems that whether the king is alive or not.
