Once Rosalie's eyes had closed, they had remained so for days. With the Death Eaters gone, or dead, the battle had ended. The Order of the Pheonix found the Slytherins rather quickly- Rosalie unconscious, still gripping Bill's lifeless form as if she could keep him there with her. Sebastian and Ominis knelt on either side of her, tears silently streaming down their faces. Sebastian was unsure if he cried because of Rosalie's heart break, or because he lost a friend. Ominis knew that it was both.
Remus gently guided the boys away, casting a glance over his shoulder at the ex lovers, silver beginning to line his eyes as well.
Charlie remained unconscious, bleeding and disfigured, but thankfully alive. Tonk's knelt next to Rosalie and felt her wrist. The girls skin was burning up, but her pulse was steady.
When Tonk's tried to lay her down, Rosalies strong determined grip didn't allow her.
Footsteps approached, and Tonks looked up, ready to fight, only to see Mad-Eye and the twins approach.
A shaking sob escaped Fred's lips as he took in the scene, "Are they..." He couldn't bring himself to as the question that made his stomach flip.
"Charlie and Rose are fine," she shook her head, "But Bill..."
The twins embraced each other, both needing support but managed to keep the other standing.
Mad-Eye took a hobbling step forward, "Here, I'll get her to let go."
"No!" George almost shouted, causing the Aurors to jump. He was careful to calm his voice, "No. Let us. We'll get her back to the Burrow. Mum is already back there helping the other injured... we should be the ones to tell her."
Mad-Eye nodded grievously, and stepped away to allow the boys to gather their friend.
Outside, lights fluttered into the sky. First one, then ten, then hundreds- and miraculously the Dark Mark in the sky dissolved.
Rosalie, who was conscious yet no longer in her body- unseen be the others- stood in the widow watching the tribute to Albus. Little Albie, the little boy whom she had mentored, dead.
She screamed. She screamed and screamed yet no one heard her. She screamed into the night.

Rosalie slept.
Molly's gut wrenching cries as the twins delivered the news were enough to make even Remus excuse himself to vomit into the bushes outside- unable to stop himself from picturing Teddy being the one with a gaping hole where his heart should be.
Yet she slept.
Albus's funeral came first. Witches and Wizards from across the globe came to pay their respects- even the mermaids in the Black Lake made an appearance. The slytherin boys stood vigil over Dumbledore in Rosalie's place.
She slept.
In the days that followed, Bill was laid to rest at the edge of the Weasley's property. The family wept for their fallen brother and son.
And she slept.
Once the twins had returned her to the burrow, her consciousness snapped into her body- and The dreams began.
"It's your fault, you know," Fig approached her from behind, pausing beside her to stare down at Bill's mutilated body. Rosalie's head shot up, taking in the sight of her long dead professor. He stood there, looking the same as he did the day he died, calmly standing with his hands clasped behind his back in the way he always did.
"Professor Fig?" She stumbled over her words, "What? How?"
He smiled sadly, "All of the people who die around you- its all your fault."
She floundered, mouth gaping and tears forming, "No, I-"
"Bill, Sirius, Albus," he continued, "Me. You could have stopped it. You could have saved us."
Rosalie said nothing, just staring through tears as the man continued, looking as if the things he said were just another evening conversation.
Around her, her surroundings became clearer. The repository. The ground began to shake, just like it had that fateful day. Fig was suddenly by the edge, and Rosalie could only watch as the rock fell again, instantly killing Fig.
Her body was paralyzed, but she could scream. And she did. Beside her, someone laughed. Suddenly able to move again, her head swiveled to see the familiar greasy dark hair.
"Sirius?" She choked reaching out to touch his face, to prove he was real.
He stepped back, just beyond her reach, "When Fig died, you didn't have the power of the Repository. But when I died, when my own cousin killed me- sent me through that veil," he reached out and traced a hand across her cheek swiping away a tear, "What was your excuse then?"
Sirius brought his finger to his lips, licking the tear that ran down it. He through his head back and groaned with pleasure as Rosalie watched in horror, "Your pain, your sorrow. Its- delectable."
Rosalie stumbled backwards, tripping over Bill's body. As she scrambled away, she began to shake her head, "No. You're not Sirius."
A hand reached down, offering to help her up. She didn't take it, instead following up its arm with her eyes to Bill's grinning face, "Aren't I?" He pouted and dropped his hand, beginning to pace, "You know, Rosie. I still loved you. I really thought you'd be the one. Then you had to let me die. Why didn't you save me?"
"Who the FUCK are you," Rose hissed as she pulled herself into a squatting position, blue flame flickering to life in the palm of her hand.
The person laughed again, blurring and becoming undefined- then Rosalie was looking at herself.
Her old uniform, her shorter and lighter hair, no scars. It was her from before. Before her life went to shit.
"Maybe I'm you," Not-Rosalie smiled, watching lightning dance between her fingertips.
The flame in Rosalie's palm flared as she growled, "I said," she spoke between gritted teeth, "Who the hell are you."
Again, the figure blurred and refocused- and somehow Rosalie knew this was really their true form, really who she was speaking to.
She stood triumphantly infront of the dead witch, her defiant his echoing throughout the repository,
"Isodora."
