chapter 1

 I sigh in satisfaction.  Today is the day when I can finally move out. I'm moving to California. My job as a youtuber has taken me to a whole new level. I'm not big tho, I guess you can say I'm semi- famous (if that makes sense? ) I've got like 400k subs which I'm pretty proud of. I love my fans, every single one of them.

I almost forgot,  my name is Aria. Aria Prescott, and I'm from Houston.

Today is a big day for me. I finally found an apartment,  perfect for a single person to live in. It has 3 bedrooms  , kitchen, dining room, tv room and a balcony. The building has a swimming pool too  I'm happy with it.
I was perfectly fine with renting it but my dad being the protective and loving dad he is, insisted on buying it.

" Honey, it's time for you to leave," I heard my mom calling

"Coming," I said, not shouting but in a loud and clear  voice.

I grabbed my black handbag with studs on it.  And looked in the mirror one last time. I was wearing a white full sleeve shirt and a floral crop top on it with the words "Hype" written on it, black skinny jeans and white toms. I was in no mood of making my hair so I just wore a beanie. A little mascara and lip gloss, not much make up, just enough to look decent.

"Aria,!" My mom called me again "you'll get late of you don't come down right now,"

"Okay mom,"I returned an answer

I switched off the lights and took a deep breathe. I'm going to miss my room. The comforting bed, the soothing blue walls and the times spent here with my two best friends,  Emily and Trevor.
Oh, I'm going to miss them so much.
I sigh closing the door behind me. I walk downstairs and to my surprise I find Emily waiting for me. 

"Em!," I yelled with joy

"Aria!," She yells back

We both hug.

"What are you doing here?," I asked letting go of her

" what? Can I not come see off my best friend?," She playfully rolled her eyes

"Of course you can,"I laughed "But where's Trev,?"

"I don't really know..,"she answered looking down and then looked back up "I called him and and asked him if he's coming to see you off but he said he's busy,"

"Oh okay," I was feeling downhearted

Trevor has been avoiding me for over two months now and I don't like it. We're childhood friends.  Friends since first grade for crying out loud and now he's treating me like trash. We've been friends for over 15 years. I don't even know why he's  treating me like this. He has changed and it hurts cause I miss the old Trevor. I want the old Trevor back. He made new friends and I'm cool with that, but ever since then, he has been avoiding me. He talks to Emily once in a while but me? I'm practically invisible to him. You make new friends but you don't forget your old ones, do you?

"It's going to be okay," Emily assured me with a smile

" I hope so," i fake smiled

I mean Trevor did not even have the decency of calling, HELL even texting me saying goodbye. But he's still my best friend.

"Let's go baby doll," my mom said coming out of the kitchen "your dad is waiting for you in the car,"

I grabbed Emily's arm and rushed out. We sat in the car, me and Emily in the back and my mom next to my dad

The airport wasn't that far from my house so we made it in no time at all.

We got out of the car as soon as my dad parked. My dad took out the suitcases from the trunk. My mom started to cry so I hugged her attempting to calm her down.

"Mom, It's okay. It's all okay", I assured her "Im going to be fine. Trust me,"

But she kept crying and didn't say a word.

"Mom please stop crying," I tightened the hug a little "I love you,"

"My baby girl is so grown up," she cried "I'm going to miss you so much,"

"Hey hey hey," my dad interrupted our mother-daughter emotions " when will I get my turn,?"

I giggled and  hugged him

" I will miss you guys,"
  I broke the hug and moved to Emily.

" And I'll definitely miss you and Trevor" I let out a small smile.

"Promise me you'll call and won't forget about us?," She questioned

I could tell she's worried. She thinks I might forget her but how could I? She's my best friend and no one  I MEAN NO ONE could ever replace her.

" I promise" I hugged her, " I'll keep you updated at all times,"

She smiled

I looked at the time

" well I should get going now before i change my mind," I giggled

I grabbed my stuff and waved them good bye and went in.

After the bag checking and other necessary stuff I finally boarded the plane.

I got off the plane grabbed my bags and rushed out. I don't know why I was in such a hurry. Probably because I was just so excited?

I was in a hurry alright that I wasn't even looking where I was going and  bumped in to someone. I dropped my purse letting a few stuff falling out of it. i bent down putting them back in the purse but holding my cell phone in my hand only.
When I looked up I saw the person I bumped in to. The person was a dude. He had blonde hair. He wore a snap-back. He was wearing shades so I can't really tell his eye color. I guess he's almost 6'1?  He's pretty skinny but still had a masculine body. He wore a loose tank top with some really tight skinny jeans. He kinda frightened me.

"Why hello there," he circled around me

"Hello," my voice timid

"What's your name, beautiful? " he stood in front of me

"A-Aria," I stuttered

" kinda innocent,"he chuckled darkly

I felt his hands on my waist. I smacked then away.

"Watch it," he said " You don't want me to get angry,"

He put his hand on my waist and pulled me close. He was towering me by two-three inches. I put my hand on his chest trying to move him away.

"Don't fight now," he said.

His face lowers to the crook of my neck. He rise his head to my ear
"I'm kian,"he whispered

He put his hand on my arm and slowly making his way to my hand and taking my phone,  his head still to my neck.
His breath was warm. He kissed my ear and tugged on my ear lobe.

I gasped softly.

"You're innocent," he whispered again.

I remained quiet no knowing what to say.

His head rose up and now was facing me.
"I would like your number,"
He said
Well that escalated quickly.

But before I could object, he used my phone to save his number and send him a  text.

" Here you go," he said handing me my phone " thanks love,  see you around"

He winked and walked away disappearing.

" What just happened? "I whispered to myself.

I sighed and got a taxi to drive me to my apartment.

My first step in Cali and this is how I'm greeted. 

"Just perfect,"  I thought rolling my eyes
