Shove it! Shove my stupid brother, and my stupid friend, and this stupid party. If both of them wanted to stay I'd stay too. Brian was off ruining his life, Lee Ann was off living it up, I could kill two birds with one stone! What did it matter if I lived or died? Brian had thrown his life away on this party, Lee Ann wouldn't leave it, I could follow both their examples and we could all go to hell.

I grabbed the nearest glass of alcoholic something off what I hoped was a serving table and downed it in one gulp, crumpling the red disposable plastic cup. It was nasty. An odd mix of tart and nail polish that burned going down my throat. It's a wonder that I didn't hurl it up right on the spot. The cup cracked under the pressure of my hand. Useless to anyone else, I tossed it in with the rest of the garbage that littered the floor and proceeded to find my groove out in the main hall with the rest of the dead and undead alike.
