Before the worst (Jinkook) (Taejin)

In the school cafeteria, Jin and Tae were having lunch when they were joined by two of Taehyung's basketball teammates, Hyungsik and Yoongi. Just as they were conversing, Jungkook and his new girl, Jennie Kim, unexpectedly joined them at the table.

"Hey, everyone!" greeted Jungkook.

"Hi, Jennie, I'd like you to meet my best friends, Taehyung and Jin, and my teammates, Hyungsik and Yoongi," introduced Jungkook. "We all play basketball together."

"Hello, everyone," said Jennie, slightly bowing to each of them.

While Jin welcomed Jennie with a smile, Taehyung noticed a hint of sadness in his eyes. After lunch, Taehyung invited Jin to go to the library, and as they were leaving, Yoongi playfully teased Taehyung about his sudden interest in the library.

As Tae and Jin stepped out, Jungkook asked Hyungsik and Yoongi about their friends' unusual behavior. "What's up with Tae and Jin lately? They've been acting weird," he inquired.

"We know Tae has feelings for Jin, but other than that, we're just as clueless," replied Yoongi.

"Really? I had no idea," remarked Jungkook, surprised by their revelation.

Meanwhile, Taehyung intercepted Jennie as she was about to enter the library.

Jin was perplexed and questioned Taehyung's actions. "Tae, why did you stop me from entering when I was invited here?" he asked.

"Tae, are you okay? Is something bothering you?" Jin expressed concern. "I saw how you reacted when Jungkook introduced Jennie. Even though I didn't want to come here, I thought being here might help you. Please know that you can trust me."

"Thank you, Tae, but now's not the right time or place to talk about this," Jin said, looking Taehyung in the eyes and giving him a light kiss on the cheek. "I promise I'll tell you everything when the time is right."

Little did they know, Jungkook witnessed the entire exchange from a distance.
