CHAPTER TWO: Liam
Harry's best friend Liam Payne had returned to school. I hadn't seen him since Harry left, I thought he went with him. He took the seat right next to me. "Liam?" I whispered "Were have you been?" He looked at me with pain in his eyes, "Harry's dead." He said, "Well at least that's what Ive been told." I looked around the room trying to fight back the tears. "No...He cant be." I said. "Harmony, I'm sorry. He was hit by a car while crossing the road." His voice cracked, I knew he was about to cry. When the bell rang i stumbled to get up, my arm was caught by Liam's strong grip. It reminded me of the one time Harry caught me when i slipped on ice. I fell into his arms and cried, "Come on Harmony, we have to go." He said releasing me. "I have to go home, i cant be here anymore." I said grabbing my books. "I'll come with you then." He said putting his arm around me to comfort me. As we walked down the hall i felt like dropping everything, and running away. When we walked out the doors of the school i collapsed. I was crying harder than ever. I didn't move, and i didn't want to. To my surprise Liam picked me up and carried me away. "I promised him i would protect you." Liam said. "If he was here, he would be protecting me.....Liam why did he leave." I asked hoping he new the answer. Liam hesitated, "You weren't the reason, so don't worry about that. All i know is that he moved to Colorado. And he always asked me how you were and if you were okay." He opened the door to the car and put me in. "He would know if he stayed." I said crying again."Then maybe he would still be alive."
