CHAPTER NINE: Arms of an angel
When I arrived back home, Harry never left my side. He blamed himself for what had happened to me, and it hurt me to see him so upset. “Harry” I said touching his face, “It wasn’t your fault.” His emerald green eyes looked up at mine, they were glossy and filled with tears. “Come here.” He said wrapping his arms around me. “I love you.” I said, giving him a kiss. “I love you more.” He replied picking me up in his arms. “I really don’t know what I would do without you.”
~NEXT DAY~
“Good morning beautiful, how did you sleep?” Harry said in a groggy voice. “Very good, and you?” I said letting out a yawn. “Amazing with you by my side.” I felt my face become red. Oh I loved how Harry made me feel. “So what are your plans for today?” I questioned grabbing some cloths , and headed towards the bathroom. “Well first I think I might take a shower with my beautiful girlfriend, then afterwards make breakfast and take her for a lovely stroll through the jewelry department.” He said with a smirk running towards me. He picked me up and guided me into the shower. The water was hot, but it felt good against my bare skin. It had been a while since me and Harry had taken a shower together, and I missed it dearly. His plump lips softly kissed mine, making me get a war of butterflies in my stomach. His hand moved up and down my body in ways I have never felt before. “I wish this could last forever.” He said kissing me on the forehead. “Then lets make it last forever.” I said pulling him closer to me, kissing him passionately. We slowly got lower to the ground, and sooner or later he was on top of me. “Oh how I've missed you” Harry said, letting himself into me. Our breaths were coming out in gasp now, and the shower began to fog. I heard my name slowly fall from his lips, and his head rested on my chest. “I love you.” He said. “I love you too.” I replied.
~LATER THAT DAY~
We arrived at the jewelry store around two, and I hadn’t stopped questioning him on why he was bringing me here. “Do you really want to know?” He said grabbing on to my hand. “Yes!!” I replied. “Because I want to make you mine. Forever.” He said. “What do you mean?” I questioned, confused. “One day, I want to make you my wife. But for now, I want to be able to put a ring on your finger that promises one day, you’ll be mine.” He said, opening the door for me. “A promise ring.” I said kissing him on the cheek. “Yes. And I needed the size of your finger. I already have the ring picked out.” He smiled, and walked me over to the table. “Size 6.” I said, in shock. As we arrived at the table, he made me turn around as he told the lady what size and what ring. “Ah, here we go. You can turn around now.” He said. As I turned around, my mouth dropped. The ring had a aquamarine colored diamond in the middle with tiny sapphire ones around it. “Forever.” He said sliding it on to my wedding ring finger. “Forever.” I said kissing him.
