Woojin was happy to see that Hyunjin was trying to reconcile with her, so she accepted his apologies.

However, she still had some unsettled business with Minho.

'Hey, can I talk to you for a second?' She asked him. It was on a Saturday, and all 9 of them were at a restaurant. Woojin had seriously thought about something and wanted to speak to Minho about it. His response determines the state of their relationship.

'Minho, I'm gonna tell you something right now, and I'm going to be direct about it. No beating around the bush.'

Minho raised an eyebrow at her, curious as to what she had to say since it seemed so important.

'I like you'

Minho stood there in confusion.

'Pathetic' said a voice behind.

It was Seungmin. Apparently, he needed to make a call and reception in the restaurant wasn't too good, so he came outside and happened to overhear the conversation between the two.

Though Seungmin responded in a nonchalant way, he was breaking on the inside, and was completely lost. He had no idea how to feel about what Woojin had just said. Yes, he picked up on her liking Minho, but he assured himself that if she ever told him or if they started dating, he would support then with all that he could.

He had no idea it would be this heart-braking.. His heart got heavy, and could barely contain his tears. If anyone touched him or talked to him, he would be an absolute mess, he would've had a breakdown.

Deep in his thoughts, Seungmin took his leave and went back into the restaurant, but he didn't return back to his seat. He took a detour to the nearest bathroom and camped out there for a bit. He was still not himself, and didn't want to seem vulnerable in front of his friends. He honestly just needed someone to talk to.. Someone who would listen to his yapping, let him cry in their arms, be on his side no matter what, and would always be there for him. Little did he know, that that person would turn out to be Woojin.

As Seungmin was deep in thought, we resume the scene with Minho and Woojin. They decided to brush off the feeling that Seungmin had heard what Woojin just said, while she was waiting for an answer.

It took Minho alot to say this, but he had to reject her. He obviously knew Seungmin liked Woojin, and he couldn't do that to one of his close friends. For once, Minho decided to put others before himself..

'I don't like you back'

Yes, there could have been a less harsh and cold way to say this, but it was the only thing he could say without accidentally blurting out his love for Woojin
