| 3rd POV |

Nothing can be scarier than the beeping noises emitting from the life machine of a dying patient.

The sound of the ventilator resonates throughout the whole room.

20 degrees of temperature, just enough not too hot nor cold and not really bothering both two identical father and son family members sitting gloomy on the chair provided by the hospital.

Her cold and motionless hand is being warmed by the man's palms. None other than Takasugi. Who else?

It's been more than two days and not a single reflex except from those two witnessing how she was messed up on the chair in that abandoned factory.

Still yet to left those memories from their head, Takasugi vow not to leave her side and Shinichi anymore.

He couldn't dare to even count how long have been since he pulls off those killer words that he himself promised.

In the end, the same promise and yet the same person of big audacity to shatter the dream of the woman he loves.

He never forgot. Not once or all. She is always gardening a bunch of colourful flowers and plants in his stupid mind.

And now, how funny this tragic could be when the one who hurt her right now is the same one who ended all of these bond the two of them once shared with.

Laughing. Not because it's funny.

But thinking he is really a stupid, dumb people ever existed. Thinking how those hurtful, painful line of sentences he used to make the same woman he still yet to let his feelings die, burning parts of the coldest heart she has.

Now, those words he once through eating himself when he decided to visit her unconscious body on the plain bed, tucking under the warm of light blue blanket.

"You know, mom never forgot about you." Shinichi opened the topics after a long pregnancy pause creeping into the thin river of silence.

"She thinks I never realized it, but actually doing the opposite. Sometimes, she cried in her sleep and saying things like don't leave her. I'm not that dumb to noticed that. It's so obvious I couldn't point it out so she won't be hurt and be sick. She had it enough."

Don't need to tell that, I already know. Takasugi couldn't speak a word to hush the young boy.

"I don't think I can hold that secret anymore. You met her already, so you must noticed how is she now. So, you think you can still leave her? Even in these condition? Okay, imagine if I'm not even born. Will you still leave her?"

Of course I won't in Abyss leave her alone.

Is all what Takasugi thought, trespassing through his head.

Like a coward little flies who running away after being waves many times and still thinking about flee when the things going out of hands.

He is a freaking the leader of rebellion, the men who lead the revolution against the law of country.

Still, being a dastardly wimp to chase a woman he yearns for year.

"I'm a coward."

"I saw that."

"And still a coward."

"No need to spell the obvious, shrimphead."

"How funny your attitude is me even though you were living all the times with her. All on top, glad your braveness flood from your mom's blood."
