Shinichi asleep peacefully from the chair, head on top of her waist, after the whole rollercoaster ride of drama happened.

Her hand gently stroke his hair, create a calm feeling to make him comfortable.

While both of us were still conversing after making sure the young is out from consciousness.

"That's the best option for us." I made sure to make my tone is barely enough not too loud and not disturbing the snoring child.

Somehow, a sense of resenful desire prevailed behind those emotionless face of mine, glancing towards the woman's hand stroking head who isn't–

This isn't time to be envy, Bakasugi.

"What about your words back then? About our relationship. Saying it wasted your energy and time."

I could sense my clouded thoughts vanished within seconds. Changing my eye from the hand towards her pale face.

A sorrowful look took over the role. "I couldn't think properly. I was desperate, between to save you and my teacher. And those fool heads too. I couldn't save him. I could loses you too. What if I failed to protect you like I couldn't protect what I must protect? That time was different, [Name]. I can't even save both my precious person so I had to let you go first."

Taking a deep breath, I resume. A total remorse shapes my face this time.

"I regret it. I really regret it. Now is the right time to make better decisions. I can't lose you for the second time, [Name]." Lifting his hands and pulling her free hand closes to my chest, "So, please."

[Name] send a few glance between the both of us again. As like she was keeping a long breath inside, she heaves slowly. Maybe wording a sentence what the suitable answer should she give so I can under what's happening in her mind.

"I afraid it's too late now. 10 years, Shin. Ten freaking years you left us."

I swear some parts of me are cracking.

"I will find the best medicine, the best place to heal your sickness, the best doctor to treat your illness. I have been suffering too, all this time and I really regret left you back then. Please.... come with me."

A plenty of pregnant pauses creeping into the cold air again.

Of course she wants it. A happy life, a complete family and a heartwarming story ending with a happy life.

That's all she needs right now.

Not just her, but for the only son she has ever.

We have ever.

Another long sigh leaving her lips. An obvious of devastating faces telling much she is cursing 'This brat' in her head.

"10 years...." She murmured, nailing her eyes to the young.

I slowly nodded, complying with her. "I know...."

"I dream of you coming back to me." A crack in her voices echoed in my ears.

"And your dream is gonna happen right now."

It's kinda cliche when someone says about if they could give a world to their beloved, they will give it. But for me, I will ensoul myself and sacrifices it so I could grant whatever wishes she desires to come true.
