Today, the girls and I were in Palladium's class, which was being held outdoors for a change. "So, as I was saying, today's exercise will be rather difficult." Palladium said, "Professor Palladium, a mosquito just bit me!" Francine cried out.
"Well, we are in a swamp, and it's just a mosquito. It's no big deal." Palladium told her. "But look where it got me!" Francine said as she lifted one side of her shorts "Oh my! From- Well, um... what I meant was... uh... T-to be 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 and to uh eh... the point..." Palladium said stuttering as he backed up nervously.
The other students then started laughing at him "Poor professor. They shouldn't give him such a hard time." I said as the girls and I watched from the back. "If he were more confident, he'd get more respect." Stella said "A good fairy should be able to listen to what nature tells us. Today's exercise is designed to put your skills to the test. Now, you've all been put into groups, so we're ready to begin. You have three hours to get out of Black-Mud Swamp and reach the clearing in the middle of Gloomy-Wood Forest, without using magic. Remember, listen carefully to the voice of nature, and follow its advice." Palladium told us, and then he teleported away leaving us all alone.
After Palladium left, the girls and I broke off from the other girls and started walking through Black-Mud Swamp. "This place is... ew... totally disgusting." Stella said as the girls and I were knee-deep in some swamp water "Oh, yes, dear. All this mud is so very inconvenient." Musa said sarcastically making the girls and I laugh.
