I had an hectic day at work today, I kept myself busy all day to distract myself from the fact the Luna still hasn't reached out to me

"Who the hell does she think she is??" I said my thoughts out aloud 

Thousands of girls would kill to be in her position but she chooses to play hard to get
She isn't even my type.....okay maybe she is a little and maybe I'm being paranoid but it's been A whole f******g week and nothing

If I hadn't figured out dad's intentions with my brain I wouldn't even be in this situation now. I knew Dad was going to announce I and Gemini's engagement with or without my permission if I didn't act fast, I wasn't even in my right frame of mind. Luna was the only girl right there and she owed me didn't she?

I know it was wrong to put her in that situation and I can't even get the image of how her colour left her body when I announced her

Gemini lost her chances with me right from that moment I caught her having an affair with Max though no one except the Both of us and max of course is aware of that fact and she still remains my childhood friend but I'd admit that I really liked her then but I can't dream of a future with her and I won't allow Dad to use me for his selfish needs, I refuse to be a pawn like Braun

I glanced through my phone call logs again to see if an unknown number already called, it could be Luna but all that was there were the several missed calls I had from Dad, Mum, Braun, Suzy and of course Gemini

I know what they all wanted but the only person I want to talk to right now is Luna. Not that I care about her or I have a special feeling for her in my heart infact I was already getting upset at her for ignoring me

"What if she has forgotten or she doesn't care and doesn't even take it as anything serious" I blurted out again

Maybe I could stop by at her place.....I dropped her the other night so I know where she lives. Judging by her appearance and house I think she lived a pretty rough life. Maybe I could compensate her

I heard my phone ring and immediately dropped it when my heart skipped a bit but when I checked...

It wasn't her

"What" I asked frustrated

"Well, well, look who decided to pick up" Suzy said

" Go straight to the point Su" I yelled causing her to react the same way

"Fineeeee, I heard what happened at Dad's party from Braun, you know I wasn't there because I had a case that same day. Thanks for asking about me by the way" she said sarcastically

" Since when did you become so nosy" I asked raising a brow

"Since I started my profession?". She answered more like a question

"Fine, what do you want". I sighed defeated

"Mom has been trying to reach you, she's really worried about you and Dad is very verrry angry, he had a fallout with Arthur Brookes after you left the party, so I heard, and I don't think your 'girl' is safe at this point, he has contacts looking for her to confirm if you're really 'engaged' or if this is just a sham" She said at a go

"Roger that" I said wanting to put an end to the call

"Wait... that's it?" She asked and I could sense hurt in her voice

"What else do you want?" I asked

"Uhm- maybe sort of huh- thank you very much for that information Su, you're the best baby sis in the whole world, I love you.....okay scratch that last part I think I'm gonna puke if you actually say that" she said and chuckled

"I love you" I smirked and said it out aloud

"Ew.....f**k you Jit" she yelled and ended the call

I knew this was all going to happen as expected, Dad was so predictableeeee.

Okay I'm done waiting for her to reach out to me I'm going over to her place now

I took my car keys and headed out the door before I heard my phone ring again at first I thought it was mum but I picked my phone and saw an unknown number

It's about time

I had a hunch of who it was but there was only one way to find out

"Hello"

I picked and tried to sound as low and deep as I could....Rule 1 of being a playboy is 'Never to be caught off guard'

"Oh..hey it's Luna". She said and I felt my heart cringe slowly.... what's wrong with me

"Luna who" I tried not to give her the impression that I've been waiting anxiously for her for daysss

"Uhm, Luna Ah, the blonde girl you met at the party a week ago" She said slowly

" Huh sorry.... doesn't ring a bell" I said harshly

That's what you get for making me wait all these days hehe

" Okay enough with that....I'm the girl you out of the blue announced as your fiancee. Does that ring a bell now??" she yelled and I could tell she was getting annoyed

"Ohh yes...you, how may I help you?" I said sounding uninterested

"Really???" She said taken aback

This is starting to get fun

"Yes" I said

"Let's meet up" she blurted out

Just what I needed

"You do know my time is precious" I said in a calm voice, I can't deny I enjoy getting her worked up

What if she decides not to meet again?? No don't let me push this too far

"Set the place and the time and text it to me and if you don't, do know that I know my way to your 'Daddy's mansion' and I don't mind meeting up with him" She said confidently

Clever girl

"Fine" I said defeated and ended the call

This girl got some nerves talking to me like that, I know I'll punish her someday for this

I texted her an address and time for our appointment which was 3hrs from now, I smiled and got ready.
