Author's P.O.V.:

"This just feels so right."

As the sun dipped below the horizon and when the winds were cool, the sky held a warm orange glow across. There sat Cynthia and Hoseok on their cozy balcony, sharing words of apology, affection, love and guilt, for they were reconciling after the tiny quarrel they had over the dishes.

With gentle smiles and endearing glances, they talked lovingly about their day, savoring each moment together as the evening unfolded around them. Cynthia had her head on her husband's shoulder and Hoseok had his right arm embracing his high school sweetheart sideways. The soft breeze played with their hairs as they laughed and reminisced about their favorite memories once again to erase off the sadness of the argument, their voices blending harmoniously with the tranquil sounds of the birds flying back to nests.

An hour passed already but they stayed still, sharing each other's love through their warmth. The stars began to twinkle overhead whilst their bond grew even stronger, wrapped in the comfort of each other's presence and the simple joy of being together, growing old together.

Cynthia looked into the void, starry sky.

"Love, can you believe we're going to be parents soon?"

Hoseok smiled at the nickname, a name that Cynthia used only when they felt intimate.

"I know Cynie, it's incredible, unbelievable, like a dream come true. I keep imagining what it'll be like holding our little one for the first time."

"Me too. I can't wait to see her tiny fingers and toes, and to watch her grow up." She snuggled into Hoseok and took a look at his face. "She would have your heart smile, your Asian hairs, unlike mine. I want her to have black hairs."

"And your eyes, big ice blue eyes... the one that captivated me." He proceeded to plant a soft peck on her eyes. "These freckles.." Hoseok caressed the apple of the redhead's cheeks, "These would look like a fairy dust on her face.... I've been thinking about all the things we'll teach her, and the adventures we'll have as a family."

For Cynthia, nothing mattered right now. These moments were that meant to her the most. No, it wasn't because they were expecting, but because their love cultivated after misunderstandings. It was always after the fights, Hoseok and her shared the best, quality moments of their lives.

To Hoseok, Cynthia was his world. His happiness begins and ends with her. Every couple go through hell at some point of their married life and so did they in their 4 years of togetherness, but every time they made peace, he felt he could never love her more than the present however, it always proved wrong. He loved her more each passing day.

Nothing could ever compare this feeling.

"It's going to be amazing, Love, experiencing everything together. I already feel so connected to our baby. I'm grateful for this time, just the two of us. These quiet evenings mean everything to me."
