Chapter Eighteen

Sierra's POV

Sierra stood on the counter to tape up some streamers, she had planned a party for Liv as soon as she got the all clear.

"Sia!" She looked down, finding Colby standing there with his arms crossed.

"Yes?"

"You're gonna hurt yourself."

"No, I'm -" Sierra said as she lost her footing and slipped off the counter. "Not fine I guess."

"I told you, didn't I?"

Silence.

"Baby?"

"Yes?" Sierra said, walking away. She grabbed an energy drink from the fridge and chugged it.

"Be careful!" Colby said loudly as she sprinted out the room. "And no more energy drinks."

Sierra ran into the living room to find Sam sitting on the couch. "Why aren't you helping?"

"Ria. Chill. I'm just taking a break." He stood up.

"There's so much to do still."

"We have Mackie, Amanda, and Nate coming in 20 minutes to help."

"But this is a party for Liv. I should be the one doing it all." Sam guided her to sit down. "I just want it to be perfect. She deserves it to be perfect."

"And you know the only thing she really wants is just to be with her friends." He said, sitting next to her. "She doesn't care about the party."

"She doesn't?"

"No, she is so excited but she's more excited to be around people who care about her."

Sierra stayed silent for a minute before standing back up, holding out her hand to help him up. She was able to stay calm for the rest of the time that they were setting up. A few hours into the night, Liv was drunk and trying to do more shots with people.

Sierra and Colby were in the kitchen talking to Mackie when Liv was dragging someone in.

"Does she belong to anyone? I think she's a little drunk." The stranger said.

"Jamie!" Colby said, leaving Sierra alone. She looked at him as he shook hands with someone she didn't know.

"Mandy?" Sierra asked as the blonde came up to her side, she pointed to the random man in her kitchen. "Whose that?"

"Oh. That's Jamie, Seth's boyfriend." Amanda said, taking a sip from her cup. "You haven't met him yet?"

"No, I've been focused on Liv and then going to New York and signing for the two properties over there, I've been busy Mandy." She said, taking a drink of her screwdriver.

"That's right! How did that go? I saw the headlines."

"It went really well. We're doing a soft launch then straight out telling the fans within the next two months."

"That's a good idea. You have been together for almost six months, right?"

"I think so. Since August."

"So about four to five months."

People started coming up to Sierra to talk to her, which is how she spent the next hour. She eventually escaped and got away to the living room where Sam, Colby, Liv, and Jamie sat. They all stopped talking when she walked in, she sat next to Colby and grabbed his cup, taking a big swig of whatever he had in there.

"What's going on here?" She asked.

"Oh, we were just talking about the videos." Colby said. "He's been a fan of yours."
