Welcome back my victims! *cough cough* ehm students. Sensei Joy back ;) Been a while hasn't it? Ok well enough chat, GET TO STUDYING!

Lesson on: Phrases to help when in a restaurant/shop (Ordering or asking for prices etc.)

Word: Ikura (how much? (money)) Pronounced: E-Kur-A

Word: Are (that (understood without naming it directly))  Pronounced: A-de

Example Phrase: Are wa ikura desu ka? (How much is that one)  

Word: Kyou (today) Pronouced as spelt

Word: Ranchi (lunch) Pronouced as spelt

Example Phrase: Kyou no ranchi wa o sushi ni shi masho u. (Let's have sushi (fancy tuna lol) for lunch today)

Word: Niku (meat) Pronouced: Knee-Ku

Example Phrase: Sakana ya niku ya yasai nado iroiro tabe masu. (I eat many things like fish, meat, and vegetables.)

Word: Taberu (to eat) If said as 'ate' it is tabe. Pronouced Ta-Be-Du / Ta-Be

Example Phrase: Watashi wa resutoran de kare- wo tabe mashita. (I ate curry at a resturaunt)
