COAST - Luffy x Reader

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

To start; sorry for the late update. I posted a message on my page about how I've been struggling with the filler chapters coming up; both trying to write them and coming up with ideas, but I've been chipping away at it!

As for the next topic; I've been heavily debating on posting this announcement recently, as I don't really enjoy starting things off on a serious note, but I think it's important to cover some misunderstandings before anything has even the slightest possibility to get out of hand.

Luffy, and the reader, are seventeen at this point in the story. It's partially my fault for not specifying this, since I had assumed that everyone knew this was the case (given that the story is currently taking place in the Skypiea arc), but I'll go back and change that in the prologue or something.

The reason I mention this is simple: I do not condone underage sexual relationships. And this, hopefully, is reflected in my writing. I wanted this to be clarified since I've noticed a few comments that are bordering on the line of becoming very problematic; which is not necessarily anyone's fault, since they might not have known the characters ages at that point (as a few other comments have brought to my attention). Just keep in mind that anything said at this point forward, about Luffy OR '(Y/n)' (and their relationship), should be in the same spectrum as a 'PG-13' rating when it comes to anything that pertains to sexual content.

I understand that everyone has the right to say whatever they want, but having potential comments like this on my story reflects poorly on me, the author of said story who is distributing it to all of you; because ultimately it is my job to promote or provide the appropriate setting in my work. Any concerning comments posted after this announcement will receive warnings, but if the warnings are ignored, the user will be blocked. Sorry, but this is my story, and those are my rules.

Again, nobody is in trouble. Please do not go head-hunting for any of these comments, because there are so few of them that I'm not overly concerned; I just figured it should be made known that I do have limits to this stuff!

That being said, once we reach post-time-skip in the series, there will be 18+, adult content; restricted for those who are eighteen years and older. But, for now, we keep it soft and fluffy, cus' that's how it should be.

Again, I apologize for starting things off so seriously, I appreciate all of your comments and don't want anybody to get the wrong idea, I just want to keep things reasonable for everyone involved! <3

The sound of Luffy's sandals slapping against the floor echo into the darkness of the never-ending innards of the snake. He grunts as he almost loses his footing, thrown off while I'm clung around his neck. I hang like a koala off his back, though my legs are supported by his strong arms as they loop beneath my thighs. His clothes are as tattered and frayed as my own, now; and we had either been stuck in here for way too long, or they had started disintegrating after I had essentially attacked him with the stomach acid earlier. My eyelids still felt stiff from all the crying, but having my arms wrapped around him felt good.

Luffy hops over-and-through a heap of rubble, I jostle against his back from the rapid movement, but he comes to a stop shortly after; contemplating the cavern ahead of us with an annoyed groan.

"Seems like this stupid cave goes on forever. There's no exit, no matter how far we walk..." He pouts, and I peer over his shoulder to look around, as if I would spot something that he hadn't.
