For the year and months that came to us, it was a pretty rough path for me and my siblings. Luckily though we were able to get by.

Mama and Sir Galen had tied the knots and his son and daughter finally took Mama's surname, our surname. It was never an easy path for both sides. Living together under one roof overnight was never easy. It took us lots of fighting and realizations that we're no different when it comes to what we feel.

Aki never leave though. She patch all the wounds that would reopen everytime and she's been patient with me. She heard all my cries and my desperate wishes of help. I knew for the fact that all those were meaningful to me because I like this girl for a very long time. It was never just platonic to me.

When I thought that this year would be ours or for me to finally acknowledge my feelings for her, Aki suddenly started having more suitors who is not afraid to make advances and I knew that as the friend, I need to give way.

"I'm not losing you, am I?" Aki asked me one day. We're college now and pretty much still together. I took Architecture while Aki took Biology.

I laughed with the question, she might have caught on. "No." I answered as if her question was really ridiculous.

"Akiana!" She immediately turned around with the sound of that voice. Gabienne. The suitor and her crush. She looked at me and I just nodded, a sign that she should go. I notice her little smile before she run off and went to him with my heart aching a bit.
