Hie barbies
________________________________________In a cozy apartment that Tae and Kook called home, their laughter echoed through the walls. Life wasn't easy, but they found joy in the little things. Kook, with his sleeves rolled up, was preparing for another double shift at the restaurant, juggling bills and responsibilities. Tae, a diligent student, was working on his entrance exam to secure a scholarship for college...
Despite the challenges, their shared space was filled with love and camaraderie. Kook, while dropping Tae off at school, couldn't help but feel proud of his younger companion. Tae's maturity and dedication to their shared dreams left a warm glow in Kook's heart...
One evening, as they returned home, the aroma of instant noodles and laughter filled the air. Tae was seated at the dining table, books spread out, while Kook was frantically searching for the TV remote.
"Tae, have you seen the remote? I swear it's playing hide and seek with me again''... kook frowned
"Maybe it's tired of your action movies. I bet it's hiding in the kitchen, hoping for a change of genre''...tae chuckled didn't averted his gaze from his books..
"Hey, my action movies are a masterpiece! Besides, you always end up watching them with me''...kook scoffed
"Only because I'm a hostage in this apartment, forced to endure your questionable taste in films''..tae rolled his eyes at him
As the banter continued, Kook suddenly stopped and looked at Tae with a mischievous glint in his eye...
"Pillow fight?"...he suggested, holding up a cushion.
''You're on! But let me warn you, I've been practicing my pillow-fu''...tae giggled
And with that, the apartment turned into a battlefield of feathers and laughter. Pillows flew in every direction, and the two friends found joy in their playful skirmish.
Amidst the chaos, Kook managed to sneak in..
"You know, Tae, even if you're a pillow-fu master, you can't escape my charm''...he said laughing
"Charm? Please, I think I've built an immunity to it over the years''...tae rolled his eyes..
"You wound me, Tae. Here I am, working double shifts to pay the bills, and you repay me with such coldness''...kook pretended to be wounded, clutching his heart dramatically...
"Coldness? More like survival instinct. Your charm can be a dangerous weapon''...tae couldn't help but laugh..
As the pillow fight subsided, they collapsed on the couch, breathless but smiling...
"You know, despite our bickering and chaotic pillow fights, I'm really grateful for you. You make this struggle worthwhile''...tae looked at his friend and said..
"Likewise, Tae. I never thought sharing an apartment with someone could be this much fun. And hey, we're a killer team when it comes to chores''...kook grinned..
"True that. Who would've thought that doing dishes and folding laundry could be turned into a comedy routine?''...tae giggled..
"And the award for the best laundry folder goes to... Tae!"...kook pointed at tae...
"Thank you, thank you. I'd like to dedicate this award to all the mismatched socks out there. You're not alone!"....tae bowed theatrically
They burst into laughter, relishing the simple joys of their shared life. The struggles were real, but so was their friendship.
