He gave in to the voices.

The last week has been torture. Bill won't talk to me, which I'm not complaining about, but it's unsettling. Usually, he never leaves me alone for even a minute.

Tom went back to ignoring my existence and being harsh with me again after his brief moment of comfort. I didn't care about that, really.

I was stuck in Bill's room, sitting on his bed and staring down at the ground. I flinched as the door flung open, looking up and seeing Bill stood there.

I said nothing to him. I looked away, avoiding eye contact and ignoring his presence.

A growl came from his lips, which made me look up again. He slammed the door shut, marching over to me.

"Ameri." He sternly called my name, towering over me and crossing his arms over his chest.

I looked at him, uneasy and feeling nauseous.

"Hm..?"

"Stop moping around. Get out, now."

I sighed. I stood up, biting my nails as I went to the door, feeling Bill put his hand on my back and pushing me toward the handle.

I grunted, ignoring the anger building up inside of me as I opened the door and quickly left. I saw Gustav walk past, getting a nasty glare from him. I kept my eyes down, nonetheless.

"Oh! Bill -" Gustav stopped Bill, starting to talk to him.

Bill grabbed my wrist tightly, holding me in place while he and Gustav talked.

I didn't listen to it at all, zoned out for the majority of the talk. One thing that made me snap out of it, though, was when they mentioned me.

"How did, uh... Ameri, take it?" Gustav asked, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.

I knew better than to look at them. I kept acting as though I was zoned out, so they'd keep talking. However, it was awfully stupid to talk about someone right in front of them.

Bill snorted, sighing. "Not well. I'm pretty sure I traumatised her." He paused.

"Well, we traumatised her."

I stood confused as I heard that. What did he mean we? Did he mean him and Nathan, or did he mean other people? I didn't know, and I didn't know if I wanted to find out what sort of things they were all up to.

"Well, Tom did say that she was... a mess." Gustav chuckled quietly, looking down and shaking his head. "Said she cried in his arms like a little princess."

Bill wheezed, looking down at me. They really didn't care that I heard them.

"Hey." Bill nudged my shoulder with his. "Why'd you cry to Tom?"

I looked up at him, then at Gustav, and I just shrugged. I glanced around before staring at the floor again, and my head hung low.

Bill's expression hardened as he cleared his throat.

"I believe your parents crafted you a mouth, Ameri." He grabbed my chin and turned me to face him. "You're usually using it all the time. Why not now?"

"Because I don't want to talk to a skunk like you."

He slapped me for that. I fell into the wall, landing on my ass, on the ground. Bill stomped off, leaving me with Gustav. Gustav just looked at me and shrugged before walking away.

I groaned as I stood up. I rubbed my red, stinging cheek, walked towards the staircase, making sure to stay out of Bill's sight.

As I went downstairs, I could hear some faint laughter coming from the kitchen. I peeked inside, seeing Nathan, another guy with long blond hair, tied in a man bun, and Georg.
