Wishes Come True

Izumi's POV

"Emma, which necklace do you think is prettier" I questioned as I looked at the emerald necklaces, intending to get one for mom.

"Hmmm, how about this one Miss" she stated as he pointed to a white toned emerald necklace that was truly beautiful.

'Mom would love this' I thought as I nodded to myself, "Ah, thank you Emma. She would love this one." I said happily as I smiled up at her.

She gave back a sheepish smile, I can tell she was glad to help.

It's already been four mouths since we've moved. I started my new school a mother after getting here. I made a few friends as well.

It's been nice here, and I wish for it to stay like this forever. But back to the present.

"Excuse me" I politely called over the lady behind the counter as she came over with a small smile.

"Yes miss, how may I be of help" the lady questioned kindly.

"I would like to purchase this necklace please" I said as I pointed to the one Emma recommended.

The lady nodded her head in understanding, "Yes Miss" she responded as she opened the case and gently got the necklace out before placing it into a box.

"Please come this way" she said politely as she directed us over to the cashier. After ringing up the necklace I gave her the card and she seemed to be a little shock at the fact it was a black card.

But her gentle smile came back after swiping the card and handing it back. She placed the box into a bag and handed me the receipt. "Here you are Miss, I hope to see you at our store again" she said as she slightly bowed.

I took the bag and bowed slightly as well in respect, "Of course Auntie" I said as me and Emma then left the store.

"Hey Emma, I saw an ice cream parlor across the street. Let's get some ice cream before heading home." I suggested as Emma nodded in agreement.

So we walked outside the mall, first stopping by the car to put all the bags inside the trunk. Then we waited by the corner of the side walk for the crosswalk light to turn green.

'I should get cookies and cream, or maybe m&m's or snickers. All are so gooddd' I thought to myself before the light changed to green and we began walking across.

But...something caught my eye. As I turned my head there was a car going full speed towards Emma.

'No, I have to protect her' I thought. It felt almost as if things were going in slow motion as I turned and pushed Emma out the way as the car was only inches away.

I smiled slightly as I saw her slightly shocked face, 'At least she's gonna be safe' was the last thought I had before the car hit me and I blacked out

3rd POV

Emma sat on the street in shock, as the car had just hit her young Miss. she stared in horror as Izumi laid there. In a puddle of what seemed to be her own blood. Unmoving.

As soon as the maid realized what just happened she got up frantically, 'Miss Izumi, why' she thought as she rushed over to her.

"Miss Izumi! Miss Izumi!!" She yelled out tears burning her eyes as she kneeled over her young Miss. while people gathered, mumbling in horror and worry of the poor girl

But through the blur of tears Emma noticed something strange. Izumi had green scales covering a part of her body. with a single horn on the left side of her head. 'I-Is This?...her quirk?'
