The earth swallowed him.

The inert body slid over the stream of blood, while the stones closed over the pale young man.

There was nothing else at that moment.

He gave himself resolutely to the End, it was impossible to resist.

Like a siren song, the conclusion came, the joyful laughter of a love on its way out of the labyrinth of experience.

He felt the lips of a lover touch his soul and in the next second total silence.

The pain that tore at his limbs, ripped through his flesh, and pierced through his mind had stopped.

He had never imagined that his supposed life would distress more than the epilogue.

The wind from the fall messed up his brown hair…

Since when did he fall?

"Should I feel something now that I had passed to the other plane?"

Something told him that this wasn't how people passed into the underworld.

Sacrifice observed the rocks moving away and the drops of red liquid that fell along with its deadly shell, forming small constellations.

There was no fight, there was no opposition.

He fell with his defenses defeated and surrendered.

The water swallowed him.
