We had all just entered the portal. We were told that we'd be sent to when we were needed most, but when I came out the other side I found myself outside Beacon. "Ah, you must be the replacement lecturer. Please come this way." Professor Goodwich said as I followed her I put my hood up I didn't want to be noticed by the students, I realized what was going on when I saw myself and my team sitting at a bench, Blake didn't look comfortable, she was more interested in her book, and she was wearing her bow. "This was still the beginning. I-I can change everything!" I said, "Are you alright?" Professor Goodwich asked, "I'm alright, so what am I lecturing about?" I asked, "Of course, that drunken moron didn't tell you. You will tell the new students about your experiences as a professional huntress. Please don't hold back because they're children, they need to know what they're getting into." she said, "I think I know just what to tell them. They'll get the point." I said.
I went and enhanced my disguise by stealing a pair of Yang's old sunglasses, and one of Blake's bows to use as a headband. "Ok class today we will be lectured by a pro huntress, please welcome miss...I'm so sorry I never got your name." Professor Goodwich said, "Alex, you can call me Alex." I said, "Now students, I could tell you all about my years of experience fighting Grimm and the forces of darkness, but instead I'd like to ask a simple question. What's your favorite fairy tale?" I asked as expected Professor Goodwich looked warry of my question knowing what I was implying, while the class muttered and laughed at the question, until Pyrrha raised her hand, "I quite enjoyed the story of the seasons." Pyrrah said, "A good choice, mine is a story that hasn't happened yet. It's called the Girl and the Tree. It teaches a lesson that I nearly died learning." I said, "Now I'll pass along the story to you all." I said, "In a world far different from our own, a world where the lost and broken gather. There was a great tree. This tree fixed what was broken, and gave it a new purpose. Now when a girl, lost, scared, separated from her friends, and she bore the weight of the world upon her shoulders, appeared in this world she gave herself the tremendous task of finding her friends and getting them home safely." I said, "The girl managed to find her friends, and even found an old friend who she never knew was lost. The group traveled all over the land on an adventure to get home. they watched a town burn and its citizens die at the claws of a terrible monster, they saved a town occupied by paper people for a time. But when the town fell the girl ran blaming herself and frustrated by her inability to lead her team. She stumbled upon the great tree and it took her in, the girl died and a monster came to take her body for itself, but thanks to the efforts of her friends the girl came back to life. She came back with a new purpose and a new idea of how to be a leader. Together they slayed the monster and returned home." I said, "But why didn't the girl ask her friends for help?" the young me asked, "Well she probably felt that since she's the leader she had to have everything put together. Handle all the pressure that the world threw at her. But it was too much for her and she crumbled under it all." I said, "The point is, being a leader is hard, but relying on others can be just as difficult. But taking the plunge, asking for help, is the hardest part of all. For all you team leaders do your best, and when you can't ask your team, your friends, to help lift you up and make you and them better than before." I said as the bell rang, "Class dismissed, oh! And no homework!" I said, "Yes! I always wanted to say that!" I said before I left and when I did I exited another portal and now I was stood with my friends outside Vacuo.
