I entered the portal after Weiss, but rather than ending up in Vacuo as expected, I was at Beacon Tower, with Pyrrha. "It's you, y-you're here." I said happily, "Jaune? What happened to your hair?" she asked with a small chuckle as she ruffled my hair, "Pyrrha." I said as I hugged her, "Jaune, I just saw you. How did you get back here so quickly?" she asked, "Pyrrha, please, stay here let me handle this." I begged, "You know I can't do that." she said, "Look at me! I'm far stronger! I can do it! I can beat Cinder!" I said, "Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. Who's to say? We may never truly know." she said as she put her hand on my cheek, "I have to protect you. We can't beat her without you!" I said, "Look at you, look at what you've become. You're so much stronger, but you've lost something along the way." She said, "Lost something? What the hell could you possibly know about it? You're the reason I'm here! You're the reason I'm this strong, you're the reason why I'm in so much pain, you're the reason why I keep fighting!" I snapped, "Jaune I..." she said, "No. No more apologies, no more stopping just short. I'm finally back here and I can finally say what needs to be said. I noticed you. I love you Pyrrha and I have for years now...which is why I can't let you fight Cinder." I said as I drew my sword, "Jaune, please don't do this." she said sadly, "I'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe." I said, "You will try." she said as she raised her hand and repelled all the metal on my body from her, "I WON'T BE BEATEN SO EASILY! I HAVE NEARLY TWO DECADES OF EXPERIENCE YOU DON'T!" I snapped as I abandoned my armor and weapons to rush at Pyrrha, "Jaune, please stop!" she begged as she blocked with her shield, "NO! NOT UNTIL YOU AGREE TO LET ME DO THIS!" I said, "Then I'll say it one final time, and I'll leave you with two parting gifts." she said as she kissed me, I saw her throw her spear in the corner of my eye, "I love you Jaune Arc, and I'm so sorry to have to hurt you again." she said before the pole of her spear hit me in the back of the head I began to lose consciousness.
When I woke up I knew she was gone, "Don't move human." a White Fang grunt said, "I'm sorry, but I'm a little pissed off so don't hold this against me!" I said as I punched him in the throat and put him in a headlock and cut off his air supply until he passed out, I put my armor back on and grabbed my sword and shield. "These will help." I said as I took the grunt's clawed gauntlets.
I climbed all the way up the elevator shaft to what was left of Ozpin's office. I saw Ruby and Cinder unconscious. I saw the tip of Pyrrha's sword in the rubble, so I took it. "I could kill you right now. Save so much time and countless lives, but I won't. I want to see the fear in your eye as the loveable goof kicks your ass at your strongest." I said, "But I will take a souvenir." I said as I transformed my sword into a greatsword and cut off Cinder's left arm before putting what remained of Pyrrha's weapon away, I walked towards the edge of the tower, and in a flash, I found myself over looking Vacuo with Weiss, Blake, and Yang. Blood dripped silently off my blade and into the sands.
