I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was not expecting to find myself face-to-face with my sister. "Weiss, I still do not believe that you are ready to go to Beacon. Performing one summon is not enough." Winter said she looked so much younger than the last time I saw her. "Did you get a bit taller? And what is that outfit?" she asked, "I'm trying out a new look." I said, "When will you learn, that clothes don't make the warrior, it is your resolve that matters." she said, "Look who's talking." I said, "What was that?" she said coldly, "I said look who's talking. Winter, you're amazing, but you ran away. You left me and Whitley here at Father's mercy, Mother hid herself away, and I had to grow up fast!" I said, "Weiss, that's enough." she said, "NO! I needed you and you left me!" I said, "I TRIED!" she snapped, "I tried my hardest to fix everything. Weiss, I didn't join the military just because I wanted to get away, I failed. Time and time again, I failed to fix our family. But time and time again I failed. Father demanded perfection, and mother couldn't stand to look at us. I stepped up, I took care of you when our parents didn't want to! But that's more than I can say for you. You were content to cling to the idea that everything was alright. And when it wasn't, you hid away in your room. Have you ever really tried to talk to her?" she said before walking away. "No I haven't, so let's fix that." I said as I walked to the kitchen.

"Mother, may I sit with you?" I asked, "What so you can chastise me again?" Mother said, "No, I was hoping to talk to you. Maybe share some tea." I said she gestured to the seat next to her, "Thank you." I said as I sat beside her and poured a cup of tea, "I understand now. Your drinking that is." I said earning a confused and suspicious look from my mother. "You're scared. And why wouldn't you be, the world is big and scary, full of monsters, and your children want to run right into that big scary world, the world that hurt you. I get it, and knowing what I do now, it's terrifying. But Mother, I found my strength, and I know you can too." I said, "Weiss when you were little, you told me that you wanted to explore the world as a family. I told you that maybe when you were older we could. But I never saw you grow, for ten long years, you stayed that innocent little girl in my eyes. But now, you're a grown woman." she said with tears in her eyes, "We can't stay small forever, I had to grow up sooner or later." I said as I raised my glass, "I-I think I'd like a cup of tea, just this once." she said I smiled and poured her a cup.

For hours we sat and told stories until it started getting dark I followed her inside, but as I passed through the door, I found myself standing with Blake, Yang, and Jaune overlooking Vacuo.
