Catnap, still in the arms and clutches of Dogday, blush, but hides it terribly. Dogday notices this and decides to ignore it, thinking Catnap is embarrassed. Dogday spots Crafty's house and runs faster, Catnap blushing even more.
"B-Bubba! Crafty! We made it!" Catnap blushes more, realizing he's still in Dogday's arms, in front of Bubba and Crafty, who were waiting by her door.
"Hey Dogday.... hey um.... hey Catnap..." Crafty's voice was quiet. Bubba was staring at Catnap.
"Wouldn't move?" Bubba says casually
"Wouldn't move..." Dogday responded. Dogday puts Catnap down, and to everyone's surprise, stays there! Catnap had a famous reputation of avoiding social interaction with the other critters. Bubba gestures the three to head inside, everyone else sitting in the living room. Bubba sits down as well as Dogday and Catnap.
"... I-I have called you all today about.... something.... um...." Crafty pauses, but Bubba talks for her.
"What she's TRYING to convey is that it's related to some certain incidents with Catnap and the plushies!" Bubba ran into a room and came out with a decapitated plushie. It was a Dogday plush
"..." Catnap looks away slightly, not looking at the plush.
"... Catnap? d-did you do that?" Dogday looks at Catnap in disbelief.
"..." Catnap said nothing and sat there, the other critters staring at him. Catnap in a small fit of rage releases his signature Poppy gas, everyone falling asleep almost instantly. he then walks over to the couch and sits down, staring at the plush, in which he took from the now asleep Bubba.
"..." Catnap stares at the plush intensely
A FEW HOURS LATER
Catnap slightly pets Dogday as he sleeps, but to his dismay, Dogday wakes up, tired and weak.
"....Cat....nap...?" Dogday rubs his eyes but can't open them. Catnap's hand jolts off Dogday's head and Catnap gets up and walks out of the house. after a few seconds, Dogday arises from the floor and walks out the house, spotting Catnap walking back to his house. Dogday ignores this and head back inside to wake everyone else up, muttering something in the process.
"... He wouldn't do that to me... right?" Dogday shudders at the thought.
