You stir in bed next to the bartender. He was a good lay but nothing special. You dress quickly and dash out of his small apartment and head back to the bar to pick up your car. As you're driving away, you see the Impala heading away from Bobby's. You tail them for about fifteen minutes before they pull over.
"What y/n? We're kind of busy right now," Dean says.
"Where are y'all going? On a hunt?" You ask excitedly.
"Yes, y/n, but we don't need help. Just a simple salt and burn." Sam says to you.
"Can I please go? I don't want to be stuck at Bobby's until I get a new hunt. Please Sam?" You give him puppy dog eyes and he smiles.
"Do you want to ride with us?" You nod and hop in the back, leaving your car on the side of the road.
"Where is it?" You ask Dean as he stares at you through the mirror.
"Wyoming."
~
You hear the engine shut off as you slowly open your eyes. Sam and Dean get out and go to get a room at the cheap motel. When they get the key and open it, you jump onto the bed.
"Nope y/n that's my bed." Dean says. You glare at him and lay down, rolling around.
"Well it's mine now Dean, so you're going to have to sleep with Sammy or sleep on the floor."
"Why don't I sleep with you and Sammy sleeps with himself?" Dean asks with a smirk on his face. You roll your eyes and smack him.
"If I'm sleeping with anyone, it's Sam." Sam chuckles and Dean narrows his eyes at you. He lifts you up and tosses you onto Sam's bed.
"Asshole!"
~
As Sam researched the ghost, you and Dean fought over what to eat for dinner.
"I want burgers," you say to him.
"Well I want anything but burgers," he fired back. You continue to bicker before Sam stands up and intervenes.
"Why don't the two of you go together? Then you can both get what you want," he says as he glares at the two of you. You stand up and motion for him to go. He sighs and grabs the keys.
"You don't always have to be so difficult," he says to you in the car. You scoff and look out the window.
"So, y/n, I was wondering about your story. I asked Bobby and he told me to ask you yourself," he says as you go rigid. Your past was always something that was hard and you never liked talking about it but with Dean it was different. You felt like you needed to tell someone, and he was someone asking.
"Well my mom was a proustite, so she got some rough customers, but it was to feed us. What I didn't know was that a few of them were fangs, so when I walked in the living room and saw her throat bleeding and her barely breathing, I didn't know what to do. She told me to call someone in her contacts named Asshole so I called and turns out it was Bobby. He came and picked me up, since I was in her will under his name, and I made his train me. I haven't ever killed that vamp yet, but I'm still looking. It has my scent so eventually it'll come down to me killing it or to die trying," you say as you try not to cry. Talking about your mom made you sad so for the rest of the night you were somber.
Sam noticed this later when you got home and asked you about it. You shook your head and told him to get Dean to tell him what it was. You grabbed your clothes and headed to the bathroom. You turned on the water and started getting undressed. As you removed your shirt, you looked at the scabby words written on your skin. You knew they were going to scar.
"Who will ever love someone with this on them?" You mutter to yourself as you get into the shower, letting the water rinse away your tears.
~
After your shower, the boys found out where the woman was buried. They told you to pack up so you all could get it done.
"So who is she? How did y'all find her?"
"Her name is Katrina Alexandra and she was murdered. The coroner said she wasn't exactly sure how she died, just that it wasn't quick and painless. She has been doing the same things to her victims and the police think it's a serial killer." You nod and listen to Sam talk. You loved his voice. He was like a big brother to you and he was someone you trusted since you met him.
"Let's burn this bitch," Dean says as he parks at the cemetery.
After the burn, you and Sam head to the motel and Dean goes to the bar.
"Listen, y/n, I'm sorry I asked about your past." He gives you that puppy look and you sigh.
"Look Sam, it wasn't all bad. Most of my childhood was good until my mom became a prostitute. She loved me a lot and I have Bobby. It's not all bad." You say as you fake smile. Sam shakes his head as you drop the smile. You take a shaky breath and try to not cry.
"I- I'm all alone, Sam. I don't have anyone. You have Dean and Bobby, but Bobby doesn't treat me the same as he does you guys. I just need someone," you say as you sob into Sam's chest. He wraps his arms around you and kisses the top of your head.
"You have me, y/n." You look up to search his eyes. He nods and grabs your hand to put you to bed. You climb in and he pats your foot as he walks away.
~
When you wake up, Dean and Sam are hustling around the motel room.
"What is it?" Dean looks up and continues to get ready.
"I found the last remains of her, so we are heading out early." You nod and grab your clothes to change in the bathroom. When you get out, you all leave to go burn them.
When you're done, Dean drives the three of you to a diner in the next town over and stop to eat. Dean orders number one breakfast and a slice of pie and you and Sam order number two to split. You eat a piece of toast and he eats the bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns. You finish the toast and feel hungry, but shake it off.
"You sure you don't want more?" Sam asks you and you shake your head. Dean glances at you and raises an eyebrow. You roll your eyes and flip him off. Once you're done, you get into the car for the long ride back to Bobby's.
