One thing that Henrik Lundqvist never thought was the idea of being a young parent, but once in a chaotic college party the once fun turned Into a responsibility. A couple of months after his 21st birthday he welcomed to the world his first daughter Alena-Marlo with his girlfriend of the time; Neenah.

Henrik and Neenah grew up together thanks to living on the same block all the way from primary to middle school. The kids didn't seemed to get enough from one another- they were soulmates.

Henrik loved Neenah with all his heart- from the way her reddish brown hair fell from her shoulder all the way to the middle of her back to her light eyes which he loved admiring for hours. But besides being in loved with how her looks were he loved her personality, she was funny and smart. From the moment he laid eyes on her the day when they were six he knew he wanted a life next to her.

For Neenah, Henrik was something else. Not only did he made her feel like the only girl in the world but he cared and loved her in her highest and lowest. Once she feel pregnant with their first child after a careless college party the couple decided to move in together a few blocks away from the college they were attending. Neenah continued working hard until she graduated earning her Music production degree, while Henrik in the other hand pursue a career in the NHL.

Although the once happy family ended up being turn apart on Marlo's 6ths birthday when a drunk driver hit and run once they crashed into Neenah's vehicle when she was returning home from buying her sweet daughter's birthday cake. Ending her and his unborn child life at the impact.

Although the news crushed Henrik, he knew he had to be strong to continue providing for his daughter. And so it became Marlo and Henrik for a couple of years until Marlo entered University of Michigan with a full scholarship in Music performance, following her mother's footsteps.
