Olivia didn't want to wake up but she knew she needed to because she was uncharacteristically warm. She began to wonder what the heartbeat in her ear was from. She assessed her soundings without opening her eyes and she noticed breathing that wasn't hers. She could feel the rise and fall of a chest underneath her and despite her fear she made no move. That is until a hand stroked her cheek.
She bolted up and looked over at Klaus who was smiling at her. "What you doing in here?" She asked before checking to see if she had clothes on. She did thank god but still she couldn't remember last night. "What happened last night?" She asked him when he took to long to answer her first question.
"You're beautiful when you sleep. I mean you're beautiful when you're awake to but even more so when you're asleep." He said. He was still half asleep not fully processing her questions. He didn't want last night to be over but she had already shattered the illusion that he built in his head over the course of the night.
"Answer my questions." She said impatiently with a slight edge to her voice. She could tell Klaus liked to play with her and she hoped he wasn't the type of guy to ever make a move on her without her consent but she couldn't be sure. She couldn't remember last night very well and she was scared she did something stupid.
"You had a panic attack. I calmed you down but when I tried to leave you alone you begged me to stay so I did." He said explaining everything to the best of his ability. He honestly was thrilled to lay beside her and keep her company but he had a feeling that she wasn't as thrilled.
"We didn't do anything right?" She asked hesitantly. She didn't want to assume the worst of him but she couldn't be sure if they did anything last night or not. She couldn't remember much and for the most part she just wanted to be sure. She didn't actually think he'd do anything without her consent.
"No. We just cuddled." He said calmly even though he was slightly offended that she would think of him like that. He would never take advantage of her like that and if anything ever did happen he'd want her to at least remember it and hopefully enjoy it. Not that he thought she wouldn't but he wanted her to feel comfortable around him. So no he wouldn't do that.
"Okay good. Wait, where's Hayley?" She asked trying to think back to last night. It wasn't the first time that Hayley had been around Olivia when she turned into a wolf but it was the first time Hayley freaked out that much. Usually Olivia just chained Hayley up but then again they never had the Mickealsons around.
"She's still in the shower. After the full moon she came looking for you but you were still asleep." He said answering her question. He really hoped she didn't regret last night but based on her reactions so far she definitely did. It was the first time he'd cuddled with her and he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy it.
"Oh...so she saw us?" She asked. She kinda felt like she was asking to many questions but she couldn't stop. She was thankful he didn't try anything and thankful that he was answering all of her annoying questions. He didn't seem annoyed by her but she couldn't be sure.
"Yeah." He answered her question. He was throughly afraid that she regretted staying the night in his bed. He was falling hard for her and he couldn't stop himself. He really wanted her to like him and he felt like all the progress they made has evaporated since she woke up.
"Okay." She said going to get up. "Sorry for last night. I wasn't feeling my best and I just didn't expect you to know about something that personal." She said cringing at her own awkwardness. When did she become so awkward and uncomfortable around Klaus? She didn't have an answer to this question.
