The wolf was definitely the same one Olivia saw out in the woods. It had the same markings and the same eyes. She stared at it for a moment before it finally disappeared. She finally blinked wondering why on earth it was following her. She didn't really know if she could trust it and she was positive it wasn't just a wolf though she couldn't be sure.

"Liv. Are you okay?" She heard her sister say from next to her. Olivia looked back at her sister before looking back at the spot the wolf had been. "Yes I'm fine." Olivia said looking back at her sister. "Come on back inside." Her sister said concern evident in her voice. Olivia didn't know why her sister seemed so concerned but she didn't question her as she walked back inside. It was obvious to her that her sister didn't want her outside for some reason although she couldn't fathom what that reason could possibly be.

So what are we doing today?" Hayley asked as if Olivia had any idea what to do with the day they had laid out before them. So instead of answering Olivia remained quiet hoping that Hayley would come up with something for them to do. "Ooo I know, let's go shopping." Hayley suggested. Olivia looked at her sister questioningly because that suggestion made absolutely no sense to her.

"But we don't have a car or money." Olivia said in rebuttal to Haley's suggestion. That's when Hayley showed Olivia the goodies she snagged from Elijah which included a credit card with no limit and keys to a car that Elijah got for them. "Oh really?" Hayley asked, waving the goodies in the air and waiting patiently for Olivia to catch on.

Olivia gasped finally noticing the goodies in Haley's hand. "Where on earth did you get those?" Olivia asked before Hayley gave her a duh look. "Elijah?" Olivia guessed to which Hayley nodded. "Wow he really does like you." She said, staring incredulously at her sister. She couldn't believe how lucky they had gotten to have discovered a place for themselves among a real family.

Hayley never thought she'd belong to someone but with her sister by her side she couldn't wait to see what happens next. She definitely couldn't wait to see how close Olivia and Klaus could become. She realized her sister was already getting closer to Klaus than she ever had with any other boy. "Alright let's go buy some stuff." Hayley said excitedly.

Klaus couldn't believe his luck today, first he woke up next to a beautiful woman who he might be falling in love with, second he discovered the traitor among Marcel's army, and third he got to tease the hell out of Elijah for being hung up on Hayley. But he couldn't blame his brother, he was equally hung up on Olivia which was very much not like him. But despite his better judgement and instincts he liked this girl maybe a little to much.

"You're awfully smug today. I wonder why?" Elijah said when the brothers met up again. Elijah had noticed his brother had been awfully happy since spending the night with Olivia and he couldn't help but wonder if something happened between the two. But he wasn't going to ask or say anything despite how much Klaus was teasing him because he found it redundant. He figured it was none of his business how far Olivia and Klaus got. It was to bad Klaus didn't offer the same decency.

"It's been a good day brother." Klaus responded and for once Klaus meant what he said. It had been a good day and he was actually happy which surprised him but then again he wasn't complaining. Instead he was embracing everything that came with being a thousand year old immortal in love with a beautiful fair maiden. Even though technically Olivia wasn't really a 'fair maiden' but that's how Klaus saw her. She was something fragile that he felt he needed to protect and he would do so willingly.

"So, what do you think of Olivia, truly? And when exactly do you plan to tell her that she's your fated mate." Elijah asked looking over at his brother as they made their way back to the girls. Elijah didn't really understand why his brother couldn't just tell Olivia the truth, but then again he did somewhat know the reason why. Elijah has always been an honest person, he doesn't like to lie or keep things from those he loved and he couldn't understand why his brother wasn't the same.

Klaus looked at his brother as if he was crazy to ask a question like that. "Well I can't just come out and say it can I? Besides she already knows that there's an unexplainable pull between the two of us. Besides she's human or at least she grew up in the human world. She wouldn't understand the concept of mates and what they mean to each other." Klaus reasoned.

He knew he was really just making up excuses not to tell her but it was easier than the alternative. He really disliked the idea of losing her and he didn't want to take the chance of overwhelming her and her running away out of fear or something else. He can't stand the idea of her being afraid of him and based on what her sister had told him he knew a slow and steady approach was best.

"Speak of the devil." Elijah said spotting Hayley and Olivia leaving a department store. Hayley spotted Elijah almost immediately. She growled involuntarily at the sight of him before pulling her sister close as if to protect her which was unnecessary considering the brothers had saved them on numerous occasions. Klaus smiled at the sight of Olivia before being interrupted from his ogling by Hayley getting in the way.

Although Hayley would tease Olivia later about the way her eyes lit up in reaction to Klaus for now she couldn't help but feel another surge of protectiveness over her younger sister. "Were you two following us?" Hayley said crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow obviously expecting a yes. Because why else would they be in the middle of the town square on a Friday afternoon? Klaus rolled his eyes at Hayley, knowing she could honestly be a little dense sometimes.

"You know we could ask you the exact same question." Klaus said smirking at Hayley's angry glare. But before Hayley could think of a good comeback Olivia laughed. She actually laughed which made Hayley smile because it had been so long since she heard Olivia actually laugh. "Was that a laugh?" Hayley asked before klaus had the chance. Olivia covered her mouth as if she was embarrassed that she made such a noise. "No." She said through her hands.

Hayley smiled knowingly at her sister before Elijah changed the subject. "Anyways, what are you girls doing here?" Elijah asked raising an eyebrow at the dozens of bags each girl held. "I didn't expect you to go all out using my unlimited credit card." He said with a smile on his face. Of course he had hoped for this, he just didn't expect them to accept his open-ended offer.

Olivia frowned looking to her sister who simply rolled her eyes at Elijah. "Well you definitely should've expected it." She said giving him a light kiss on the cheek before taking her sisters hand. Olivia honestly would never understand how her sister could be so playful with men. If she ever tried to flirt she'd probably die from embarrassment.
