The pair spent a few days in their family's abodes and loved every second of it. As everyone said farewell, Charlotte couldn't bare to part from her family again but she knew she had to. There was so much more she could do with her life, opportunities that she turned down because she didn't think she'd live to see the day. She could be great. Big aspirations but at least she had dreams. And dreams were all that she needed. After the last hug and kiss on the cheek, she and James got into the car and headed back to the city of London. It had been a great few days and she was grateful to James for arranging it. She didn't think that she could ever have had this many feelings for the boy sat across from her. It was crazy; this whole situation was crazy. But it was real. Charlotte was over the moon at how happy she felt. She couldn't help but reach across the console and grab his hand, lacing their fingers together. James was shocked. That didn't stop him from bringing her hand up to his lips and pressing a kiss on her flesh. Her cheeks grew red as she smiled out the window. He looked at her then, gauging her reaction, happy with the outcome. She looked the cutest when her pale complexion turned the light pink color adorning her cheeks at that moment.

The drive was quiet; a comfortable silence that each got lost in. James was thinking, of all things, about their future together and how happy they could be. How happy they were going to be. It wasn't up for argument, to him at least. She was his future. Charlotte, being her usual self, was only thinking about the immediate future. She was due to meet the boys of The Vamps today. Her palms turned clammy when she thought of it. These were the people that were there for James when she had left him out to dry. They were the ones that helped him when he was at his worst; the people he shared countless struggles with. How could she compare to that, to them? What would they think of her? What if he'd told them bad things about her? No, she thought, James wasn't the petty type.

"Worried about the boys, are you?" James read her mind, smiling at the shocked look on her face.

"How'd you know?" she asked, looking at him and smiling at the smirk across his face.

"You've got that far away look in your eyes, the one you always get when you're worried," he told her, focusing on the road since traffic began to get heavy, "Plus your hands are sweaty."

"Shut up," she laughed, trying to unlatch herself from his grip; he wasn't going to let her, though.

"Don't let go, dummy," he said, keeping his hand intertwined with his; he wasn't going to let go now, he was in far too deep to do that.

Like that, the two of them drove straight to the studio where all the boys were at. Charlotte was scared, to say the least. She knew these boys had to be nice for James to accept as his best mates. Walking through the doors of the building were nerve wrecking. She didn't know what to expect. What happened though, was surprising.

As soon as James and Charlotte stepped through the studio room's door, all hell broke loose. Boys were everywhere. The other three members of The Vamps completely bombarded the two. Hugs were thrown around and everyone ended up on the floor somehow. It was a great first meeting, Charlotte thought, absolutely no awkwardness.

The rest of the day was spent lounging around and listening to each boy sing. It was an amazing experience for Charlotte. She had almost forgotten how beautiful James' voice was. And the rest of the boys, god, she thought, they were bloody amazing as well. Everyone fit together so well.
