Months flew by in the blink of an eye. The boy's new album released and they were amazed by the reception they received. Charlotte could see the twinkle of happiness in each of her best friend's eyes. The boys had been great to her for the few months she'd known them.

They all felt like family to her by now; they practically lived at each other's houses. It was like a sleepover every night. Tyler had become great friends with the boys as well, especially Connor. Oddly enough, they got on better than anyone Charlotte had seen be friends with Tyler. He was a bit hard to get along with. Everything was as it should be.

Currently, The Vamps were in the studio making another album. It amazed James how far he and his best mates have gone. There wasn't a single thing he would change. Especially the bright face he could see staring at him through the studio booth's glass.

As she heard him sing, James belted everything he had into his part of the song. It wasn't much, but it was all he could do for the girl he loved with every fiber of his being. She was as perfect as he could ever want, as he could ever need.

Everyone took their break and ordered lunch from a local pizza shop a few blocks away. Tyler volunteered to pick it up and everyone thanked him. Since their food was being delivered by the blonde, everyone decided to have a little chat.

Sitting in a circle, the five of them decided to play truth or dare. Typical, Charlotte thought. Now, she had nothing against the game or any of the boys. But, the last time they played this game she had ended up with her bra in the freezer and nutella smeared across her face. It wasn't a pleasant memory. Seeing as she was outnumbered as well as out opinionated, she went along with their little game.

Each boy shared a knowing glance between each other and James wiped his hands on the leg of his trousers. He didn't know if he could do this. It felt like life or death for him. Everyone took turns saying stupid dares and telling fake truths, it was quite amusing for everyone in the room. Half the time, Charlotte was kneeled over laughing at something one of the guys said. It made James feel warm and fuzzy inside. It was now or never, he thought to himself. God, he hoped this wouldn't take a turn for the worse.

"James," Brad said, eyeing the boy with a smirk plastered across his face, "Truth or dare, mate?"

"Dare," he replied, as much as he had practiced it with the boys, he could still feel his mouth go dry and his throat close up; he had to do it now though."

"We dare you to ask our Charlotte here to finally be your proper girlfriend," Tristan said, replacing Brad as the questioner.

Charlotte took a few seconds to process what had just left the boy's mouth. This couldn't be happening. James met her eyes and he could see the surprise in them. He looked at her hopefully and everyone was quiet for the while. This is it, they both thought. There was no going back from here. Charlotte didn't even mind that this was an obvious ploy that the guys had schemed up to get James to ask her out. She knew it was coming; these boys were too nosey to stay out of her and James' business. She couldn't mind, she loved them for it.

"Well, um, Char," James began, trying to say the right words so he wouldn't completely mess his chances up, "Do you want to, you know-"

He didn't get the chance to finish because Charlotte threw herself against him and kissed him square in the mouth. Hoots and hollers could be heard in the background as they deepen their kiss. Once they break apart, congratulations are shared around and the smell of pizza wafted through the room. A confused Tyler is standing in the doorway with five boxes of pizza piled in his arms.

"Did I miss something?" he asked; everyone erupted into laughter and ran to take the pizza out of his arms, not answering him, "Seriously guys, what'd I miss?"

"They're together," Connor said, pointing at James and Charlotte as she hides in his chest.

"Finally," Tyler yelled, throwing his now empty hands in the air and falling onto the couch, sitting between Brad and Tristan, "It's about time."
