Chapter 4: Weird Feeling

A/N: 4th update in four days, holy.... lil bit fluff incoming :)

"What the fuck is your problem Yuji?"Megumi yelled as they both entered the locker room. 

"You are the FUCKING PROBLEM"

"What did I do to you?" Megumi gave yuji a defeated look.

"YOU are asking ME that?" Yuji pushed Megumi a little with both hands with anger and also... sadness in his eyes. Megumi took  a step back with the push. Yuji gave Megumi another small shove to push him further back. "YOU dont get to ask that!" Another push, "Don't you realize it?" Another push, "Fuck you!!".

Megumi didn't say anything, he just let Yuji push him. He saw the sadness in Yuji's eyes, all of Megumi's anger from the basketball match started fading when he looked into the pink haired boy's musty hazel eyes. His eyes soft softened.

Yuji finally pushed Megumi as Megumi's back hit the back wall, their faces so close to one another's. Yuji pinned Megumi on the wall with his hands on Megumi's shoulders. "Why Megumi?" Yuji asked hurt emanating from his breaking voice.

Megumi took a second just looking with his ocean blue eyes in yuji's honey eyes "So you do remember me" Megumi spoke with a gentle voice. They looked so beautiful. Megumi had definitely missed them.

Anger dissipated from yuji face for a moment before he decided to hit megumi with another punch "fuck you fushiguro" but megumi blocked his fist. He looked into Yuji eyes, panting from the altercation, and pushed the pink haired brat into the side wall. Yuji didn't fight back and let the brunette pin him against the wall, still not breaking eye contact. Megumi move closer still keeping his hands on Yuji's neck keeping him pinned against the wall. Something about the proximity gave yuji a weird feeling.

"STOP HITTING ME ITADORI" Fushiguro said looking into the itadori's eyes. "Tell me what did I do? why are you so mad at me? I thought of all people, you'd be happy to see me" the brunette spoke faintly with a hit of hurt and confusion.

Yuji's eyes went from angry-sad to a hurtful-sad, they eased still locked in with the beautiful ocean blue eyes. In a low voice Yuji started to speak, one hand on Megumi's chest "You just left.. we were best friends Megumi, the only friend I had for years, I loved you" his voice started to break but he continued "and then you moved away... you just decided to cut me off?!... You stopped visiting in the summers breaks or even the christmas after we had turned 14, you started responding less and less and then stopped, you stopped sending letters, I texted you for months with no response , I was so worried about you, I tried calling you, I even sent you a birthday card on your 16th birthday!! but nothing... nothing from your end, every now and then I wondered what did I do wrong" a tear fell from the side of yuji's right eye " I thought we were best friends Megumi ... but I think our friendship didn't mean as much to u as it did to me... you're the only one I had" Another tear rolled down yuji's cheeks. Megumi softened his grip on yuji and a pained and guilty expression came over Megumi's face as he looked down.

"Yuji I.. umm.."

"Thought you wouldn't have an explanation and you thought I'd be happy to see you back" Yuji said in his normal voice but with no emotion in his words. He moved to get out of Megumi's grip and leave but the black haired boy pushed him back into the wall strengthening his grip on him.

He put one hand on yuji's face and closed his eyes as he touched his forehead with that of yuji's bringing their faces closer. Yuji's heart skipped a beat, the weird feeling in his gut which he couldn't explain grew stronger but he didn't try to fight Megumi's move.

"Listen Yuji" Megumi started cupping yuji's soft cheeks in his hand " I am really really sorry, what I did was wrong and it was wrong of me to expect you to be happy to see me... I had my reasons to do what I did, I can't explain them to you right now but I am sorry. I didn't realize how my actions could've hurt you, I was wrong. I hope you can forgive me"
