"So, he wasn't a criminal, ribbit?" Tsuyu spoke up, taking quick steps as she kept up with the rest of the group

"So, he wasn't a criminal, ribbit?" Tsuyu spoke up, taking quick steps as she kept up with the rest of the group. They'd spent the day doing training and preparing for some service projects tomorrow. Helping the elderly included one of them...unfortunately, Y/N wasn't the best at old people.

Ochaco shook her head, feeling a bit better from her nausea earlier. "No, Tsu! I promise, he was just laying there and calling for help! Or at least he was trying, anyway..."

"Right," Izuku mumbled, his hand on his chin. "He couldn't speak properly 'cause of the slash in his neck."
Iida shook his head, his arms crossed. "No one deserves that fate. It's just tragic! I feel gross just patrolling and doing nothing about it."

Y/N stayed quiet, taking long strides and lost in thought. If only UA wasn't so strict now...they could bust this mystery in a matter of hours! But knowing they had no leads meant that it'd really take days, weeks. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the sound of people gathering around the dock, seagulls overhead making more noise than usual.

"Huh? What's that??"

Ochaco leaned over the rail and squinted, her hand shadowing her eyes so she could see ahead. Her eyes widened. "Wow...! I think it's a ship-!"

"A ship?" Iida raised his eyebrows and scrambled to look where she was looking, bending down to her level and doing the same with his hand. "It's got a jolly roger!! What are pirates doing here in Musutafu-?!" Suddenly a bellowing voice cut everyone off, their breaths held at the echo.

"LANDDDDD HOOOOOO!!"

"Language!" Said some old lady, probably.

Y/N squinted and leaned closer. A sandaled foot scuffed onto the dock with a wobbly step, steadying itself before taking another. A glint of orange hair breezed past the boy with the straw hat as he stood in front of the bustling city with his hands on his hips, his chest rising as he took a deep breath in. "Wowww...! This place is beautiful!"

The orange haired girl looked distressed, scratching her head nervously as she looked at the nearly destroyed map. "No no Luffy, this is bad! We went someplace entirely off the map! How could I be so careless?!"

"It's not your fault, Nami-san." A blonde boy with a suit and tie sauntered off the boat's ramp with his hands in his pockets. "Maybe if moss-head over here didn't mess around so much, the map would still be in one piece."

"THE HELL YOU SAY?!"

The students stood there with dead faces, only sounds from them being gutteral noises of confusion. Finally Ochaco broke the silence and grabbed her hair. "P-Pirates...PIRATES!! We have to do something!"

What the-?!

Before Y/N could even think of their next step, a large BOOM shook the streets, crows of civilians gathering around to watch as a group of villians ran straight from the bank, wads of cash leaving a trail behind them.

They all dead-panned and Deku finally broke the silence with a sigh, trudging back the way they came. "Come on, let's go fight them..."

Iida stared a bit longer, making eye contact with the blondie. He furrowed his brow and caught up with the rest of the group, reaching for Y/N's hand subconciously.

Ken Takagi made a face at the L/N's family photo, wondering who was the kid with the toothy smile. "So," He set down the frame, shoving his hands in his pockets as he turned to the two who were currently freaking out on the inside at the sight of Rock Lock in their house. He looked unimpressed, kissing his teeth as he smoothed his shirt.
"Uh...what did you two say your names were?"

"Wang Fire. And this is my wife, Sapphire Fire. Y/N's uhh...aunt and uncle."

Sokka- or uh, Wang's mustache faltered a bit, his hand quickly swiping at it to put it back into place. He cleared his throat and sat at the table under the light of the kitchen, gesturing for Ken to sit. "Sit down with us, Mr. Takagi."

Ken's jaw dropped a little, a headache forming. There is no way...

He got flashbacks to last year, the voice of Wang Fire quite familiar to the dumbass who was busting a rib laughing out loud in the middle of a silent moment at the sports festival...

Still, he sat, sighing and rubbing his chin a little. "So, Y/N. Would she be interested in..." He stopped to look at his hand, little notes scribbled on his palm. "Uhhh...being my apprentice?"

Katara choked on her tea and slammed on the table, scaring the both of them. (Oh sorry. Sapphire Fire...) Ken just watched her, sipping his drink slowly and waiting for whatever the hell that was.

"She'd love to. Seriously, like..." Katara leaned in and began whispering. "Believe us, there's a serious LACK of a little something in this country-"

"BLACKS and BROWNS, if you will." Sokka added, earning a slap on the shoulder from his sister-wife. "Ouch!? I-I mean...the answer is yes! She's such a strong uh...individual, she'd be up for any challenge that you throw at her, Mr. Rock Lock."

"Please, call me Ken." He murmured, standing up. He was very much done with this interview. As long as he got a solid yes, he was done here. He trudged out the door after saying some awkward goodbyes and bows, ignoring the two adults that walked in with arms full of grocery bags. On their faces was pure confusion. Typical reaction...

"Huh?" Y/N's mom held the door open for her husband, who still needed help sometimes just to make it past 5 words at a time. Before he could even open up his mouth and scold his neice and nephew, they screamed and ran out, nearly tripping them. "HAHAA HE HAS BEEN DUPED, BITCHESSS!!!"
