(A/N): Hi hiii I'm so so so sorry for being gone without much a warning, I had a terrible art and writer's block for so long...just trying to push out a paragraph was a burnout for me T_T

A lot of my favorite youtubers been off the platform as well and omg, Cory you mf...I hit rock bottom, went to go check youtube to see if this nigga posted to make me feel better and I got hit with the "3 WEEKS AGO" and the whole community started stressing ever since LMAO. I love him so much though, and ugh, it makes me feel nice imagining him turning off his socials and notifs and just sitting down with his family and his dog, talking and laughing like he deserves. Like he's BEEN deserving. Almost 20 years doing the same thing, wake up, record, edit, sleep, repeat. Mf is making a change, giving himself air to breathe. You gotta love the beauty of it all.

Missed you guys and your comments though, reading through other ones and newer feedback on my books makes me smile from time to time, I do read each and every one :)

So just know that I'll slow it down a little from my schedule-not-schedule before, but I'll feel good knowing that I can give you quality over quantity. My main goal used to be to get at least 1,000 words for most chapters, if I couldn't make it to 3,000.

I love writing, and if I wanna get back to enjoying it, I should take it easy this time lol.

Thank you if you read this little message before moving on, I appreciate u.

So sit back, relax, grab some snacks. Get yourself a cup of cherries, a BLT, hot and fresh from the skillet, and a Bubblr sparkling water. For those of you who don't like tomatoes in your BLT, swap that out with an egg <333

And with all that, let's get into it.

_____

Dark room, silent waters.

"The faculty regret to inform you of this, but it must be said." Toshinori Yagi, formerly known as All Might, stood before the class, an array of confused and worried glances exchanging across the room. It was only an hour before lunch, and the mood had already been spoiled. The lights in the halls were flickering weakly, as if no one had gone to change the bulbs like it was routined to be, and a few coughs were heard from the teacher's lounge every so often.

Y/N sat at her desk with a grip on her book, brows furrowed. The campus hadn't been this on edge since the Hero Killer, Stain. 'I'm so glad he got his ass packed up...'

She still had nightmares about when her mother and father were nearly killed. The cold hospital walls and the spirit water spilling to the floor...it haunted her.

Iida glanced her way, a scowl on his face as he glowered in the same thing. Tensei was paralyzed from the waist down ever since, and he got goosebumps all over every time he had to help him so much as turn in his seat. He held his breath and waited for the hero to finish speaking.

Toshinori's jaw was clenched, his shoulders shaking a little before he forced himself to speak. "Three teachers have fallen ill just last night. Very ill." His whole hero persona was based off of living for glory, defeating the villains in one foul swoop, and taking home their headgear as a trophy. But acts unseen, and done sneakily, was one of his few faults. And now he was a retired, newly healed, ordinary man.

Aizawa's eyes remained on the floor, his finger anxiously twisting the fringe of his scarf. Snipe had been coughing the other day...

"And they won't be returning. Someone has been poisoning the drinks, the food, and even lacing napkins and school uniforms."

Y/N's heart dropped, her eyes darting around the classroom as the other students began to mumble, tears filling Ochaco's eyes as she dropped her face in her hands. It broke Y/N's heart. They didn't want to keep going through something like this again.

Everyone seemed to look down at themselves, hoping their uniforms were safe. Y/N knew she was, because she took hers home at the end of the day to be washed herself.

This, plus the strange murders around the area...she felt that this was all personal.

"So what now? We build another campus and keep moving from place to place?" Ashido mumbled, her eyes on her desk. The shakiness in her voice had everyone looking at her, wondering the same thing. All Might kept assuring everyone things would be alright, and eventually let Aizawa move onto the lesson. But no one could really pay much attention now.

The one thought that rang through the children's heads were, "Is this course really worth it?"

_______

"We should devise an investigation immediately. We don't know for sure it will turn out all bad, but this isn't to be taken lightly."
Iida spoke up, pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose. He sat on the edge of Y/N's bed, watching her pace back and forth a few times. His eyebrows knitted in worry, trying to follow her with his eyes.

"I doubt it's the League of Villains, if that's what you're thinking of." He said, earning a silent shake of her head.

"I know."

"Well, flower," Iida scoffed and stood up, waiting until she crossed his way again before stopping her, draping his arms around her waist. Normally he'd ask for permission first, but this was the exception. He gave her a stern look, kissing her forehead. "Your pacing isn't helping anything."

"It just...helps me think." She grumbled, not really opposed to the manhandling. The kiss did calm her some, Y/N's head coming down to rest on his shoulder. Neither of them were the best at initiating affection, but it came naturally some days. Her fingers played with the string on his sleeve. It was comfortable silence for a while, before she breathed in and spoke again.
"What am I gonna tell my parents...?"

Iida's eyes fluttered open as Y/N whispered her concerns, his forehead creasing with worry. He'd get wrinkles from how much he worried about her.
"You're a great hero," He said with a glance down at her face, his fingertips tilting her head towards him. She fought the urge to break out into a smile.

"They trust you. That you know what to do, and how to take in a situation." He whispered, starting to sway a little. Y/N let her eyes close from the feeling, the day's problem's becoming a swim of dizziness in her mind. "Yeah..." She sighed, pulling back a little and standing on her toes to kiss his chin. "I believe you."

He grinned and chuckled at the sweet kiss, patting her head awkwardly. He still didn't know what to do when Y/N kissed him out of the blue like that.

But unfortunately, their moment was cut short, a pounding on the door making them jump. Y/N rolled her eyes, giving him the signal to wait where he stood. 'These niggas...'

She swung the door open and was shocked to see Bakugo standing there, that same irritated look on his face. "Hey Four Seasons," He mumbled fondly, relaxing his brows when he saw her face as well. "There's a journalist here, and he wants to speak with you. Taking pictures, being all nosy in our stuff...I almost thought he was some creep ass fan."

Y/N could barely comprehend what he was talking about, her nose scrunching in confusion. "Some grown man?"

"Skinny, tall, suspicious. I don't recognize 'im, but Deku does."
______

Y/N was a little dazed the whole way down the elevator, Iida sticking close behind her. It turns out Bakugo wasn't lying, the class looking equally nervous as a weird looking journalist with a photography quirk eyed the common area, swiping some dust off of the walls. He had a smile on his face the whole time, his face lighting up when he saw the girl come in.

"Hey there! You must be Y/N L/N. Pleasure to meet you, kid." He extended his hand towards her, but she just looked at him, trying to figure out where she'd seen him before.

The man winced and awkardly put his hand back in his pocket, somewhat thrown off by her. 'Her and that boy behind her aren't very intimidated at all, huh?'

"Uh...right. Taneo Tokuda, at your service."

Unfortunately, the pleasure was all his.

Denki came next to her, whispering something. "I think I saw him at the Diddy party."

"I've got just a few questions for ya, if you don't mind."
